Thought I'd start a thread just for Viseart since so many of us LOVE them.

I love to encourage a small brand as opposed to a brand where you pay for the name. The eye shadow quality can't be beat!

Saw this on Facebook a while back and thought I'd add it here.

A 12 color Viseart Eyeshadow Palette is $80 USD (before pro discount). Each eyeshadow pan is 2 grams and valued at approx. $6 ($3.00 per gram).

MAC has reduced the price of their single eyeshadows refills from $10 USD to $6 USD each. So 12 colors at the new reduced price would be $72 USD (before pro discount). Add the $8 USD empty palette to store them and we're back to $80 USD.

EXCEPT: Each MAC eyeshadow pan is only 1.3 grams ($4.62 per gram). You're getting only 15.6 grams of product, as opposed to the 24 grams of eyeshadow in the Viseart palette. That's a loss of over 8 grams of product.

FINAL ANALYSIS:
It would cost $119 USD for MAC to duplicate the Viseart palette (24 grams of MAC eyeshadow at $4.62 per gram and $8 for the palette).

@veronika23 If I had to guess (since they said posy is for bridal) maybe they wanted to release it this year but it wasn't ready; meaning it's too late for this year's bridal so it's being held for next year?

@Mochapj oh maybe.  I know more things are being released later this year... just don't know what/when yet.  I'm hoping in the future for a pastel/watercolor colorful matte palette and a duo chrome one. 😄

 Will Sephora get the Robbins Bhome palette? Right now picture + name = Ribbons but SKU = Editorial Bright. I don't want to order a $100 palette that isn't the one I want

I was told they would. Since I know Muse Beauty is having a delay with them I am guessing Sephora will have one too... Was supposed to be on the site by April 15th....

Ok, I don't feel so bad about having ordered those from Muse.  Even with the exchange rate, I still think they were cheaper :S

@Mochapj Did you end up paying the full shipping price or was there a code you were able to use? I'm still deciding if It's worth getting these from muse directly.

@Anewxa I spoke to someone at Muse directly and asked them to ship via a different level of USPS - it cut the shipping cost by 60%

Oooooo. This might be the one that pushes me into Viseart. I have been looking for a decently pigmented replacement for the Sephora Watercolor palette that was such a dud - this looks like it could be it! So sad to hear it isn't actually coming soon, I was hoping it would drop during the sale...

Posy actually looks like an old palette that I thought was d/c.  I can't recall what it was called but I'd seen it on Alcone earlier last year and it was basically the pastel version of Editorial Brights.  

I wonder if this is the revamped version of that palette.

ETA: this is the one I was thinking of; called 02 Pearl Brights:
