Thought I'd start a thread just for Viseart since so many of us LOVE them.

I love to encourage a small brand as opposed to a brand where you pay for the name. The eye shadow quality can't be beat!

Saw this on Facebook a while back and thought I'd add it here.

A 12 color Viseart Eyeshadow Palette is $80 USD (before pro discount). Each eyeshadow pan is 2 grams and valued at approx. $6 ($3.00 per gram).

MAC has reduced the price of their single eyeshadows refills from $10 USD to $6 USD each. So 12 colors at the new reduced price would be $72 USD (before pro discount). Add the $8 USD empty palette to store them and we're back to $80 USD.

EXCEPT: Each MAC eyeshadow pan is only 1.3 grams ($4.62 per gram). You're getting only 15.6 grams of product, as opposed to the 24 grams of eyeshadow in the Viseart palette. That's a loss of over 8 grams of product.

FINAL ANALYSIS:
It would cost $119 USD for MAC to duplicate the Viseart palette (24 grams of MAC eyeshadow at $4.62 per gram and $8 for the palette).

The 02 Ribbions Boheme is delayed at Muse Beauty Pro so I am guessing it will be delayed at Sephora. I was told it should be here by April 15th but it might not... Muse's palettes are said to be shipped by April 12th.

I got an email from Muse that said for people who preordered both Ribbons and minis, they will ship separately.

FYI, if you're on Snapchat definitely look at Trendmood's snap.  She swatched each palette & mentioned she thought the larger palettes were great but that the new ones were extra creamy.

If you like the bright colored limited edition one, can't remember name, those swatches had me drooling & I'm a neutral gal!

Holy Pigmentation Batman 😮

I just got back from the Makeup Show LA and saw the new Viseart.  Gorgeous.  The Boheme is so creamy and pigmented.  Muse (they are so nice; the founders are at the shows and they are the nicest people ever) said that there will be very limited stock of it coming into the US.

The three mini palettes are also gorgeous and so pigmented.  Really lovely - every single one (Minx was my personal favorite....).

Is it just me, or is the Minx palette very similar to the Tom Ford Honeymoon? I thought about pre-ordering that one, but I went with Cashmere instead. I think that one will see a lot more action on me.

Minx.  I think the shades are pretty different...more orange and brown based, less red  Cashmere is gorgeous but a lot cooler.  I didn't take a swatch photo (sorry...but it's pretty).
