Well, if you want your senior portraits to look timeless and classic, I'd go with Clinique. Their makeup is sheer enough that it won't look caked on, and their makeup artists are usually very good at what they do. However, it can sometimes be luck of the draw. The beauty advisors at Nordstrom are excellent though. I've always had great service from them and my makeup when getting makeovers and such has never looked caked on or unnatural. They're actually why I purchased Laura Mercier makeup and had them do my makeup the day of my wedding back in 2006. If you don't like what they're doing with makeup though, make sure you speak up. They'll change it if you let them know what the problem is.

I would get your makeup done at Sephora! The only reason I say that is because Sephora carries Clinique and Lancome products, and the thing that is nice is that when they do your makeup, you arent just stuck with choosing products from one line, but you have a TON of different brands to choose from (: Plus, I always loved this part, when you get your makeup done, instead of paying for the makeup application, Sephora requires you to buy $50 of products. They will apply whatever you want and then the $50 dollars is to go to makeup that you can use for touch ups. When I got my makeup done for prom, my makeup artist just gave me a ton of samples of everything she used on me so that I can have some for touch ups throughout the night, so instead I just bought things I really needed with that $50 lol, and those samples lasted me months!
I completely recommend it (:
Let us know what you decide on and how it goes!
