Has anyone ever won the $250 gift card from the survey?
Whenever I purchase something from a Sephora store, they always say to do the survey because you could win a gift card, and I've always wondered if anyone's actually won. So has anyone actually won?
I wish they had something where everyone wins, even if it's just a little - like $5 off your next purchase, or 25 bonus points or something. I loved that Bath & Body Works used to do that -- fill out their survey online and get a code for $10 off a $30 purchase. It's what kept me going to B&BW between their semi-annual sales!
I've entered many times and haven't won yet.
During Chic Week I made 4 in-store purchases and the site only let me enter once. Not sure if there is a limit on how many times you can enter within a certain amount of days.

I've never won but I don't do it every single time I go - I think all told I might have done it about 8-10 times over the year. HOWEVER - I should say that I really value the surveys as feedback tool and my understanding is that they are important - they go to the store managers and different people and are valuable to employees who get good reviews. I think that the fact that Sephora encourages customers to fill out the surveys then actually reads and integrates the customer feedback reflects the fact that customer service is very important to them... I usually remember to do it if I had a really really good experience but it's nice to know that if I had a very bad experience my feedback would be welcome. In my experience there are companies - like Shopper's Drugmart Beauty Boutique - that could not care less about customer service. Their strategy is to have good deals on the point system and bombard customers with point offers that are, I will admit, good offers but I just don't like giving business to a company that ultimately does not care about service. There are good individuals that work at Shoppers Beauty Boutique but institutionally customer service is a concept that practically doesn't exist in their corporate structure. To me - being valued and heard is everything so I find the Sephora survey to be extremely valuable insofar as it is one of the ways in which Sephora really goes the extra mile to check on their customers and the service they experienced.
