I would start out using a matte primer. MakeupForever has a really good primer! Then I would try a matte foundation. NARS matte foundation gives good coverage and doesn't look cakey while taking away some of the unwanted oils.

depending how bad your acne is I would either use a bb cream or a foundation make up forever hd foundation is extremely popular and great my bb cream i use is the smash box bb cream love it but if you want more coverage use concelor on top of that but a tinted mostiurzer is bad choice I think it makes your face shine and small coverage

I suggest trying a BB cream (moisturizer, SPF, primer, and med-coverage foundation all in one) and a sheer-med finishing powder. I have oily T-zones so I use Clinique Stay Matte. It would be good to invest in a good set of brush, because especially for powders, the pads or plastic brush they come with deposites too much powder and provide uneven distribution. Get a nice fluffy powder brush and you will never regret it.
