Best Primer for Ilia Skin Rewind Stick

I’m struggling finding the best type of primer for the Ilia Skin Rewind Complexion Stick. A silicone-based primer separated it (Benefit porefessional to specific). ELF Power Grip left me splotchy. So, should I skip the primer?

I only have experience with ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Skincare Foundation Skye ST0.5 @jazzygirl89 . I wore it consistently last summer using primers but I was never satisfied with the results. One day I forgot to wear primer and I was shocked with the results. Give it a try without using primers and you might enjoy the results.

similar question! Have been using it with rms primer but I feel like the ilia complexion stick still settling into my pores a little bit. Hopefully someone has an answer!
