red lipstick for my skintone

What would be  good red lipstick for my skin tone? I bought a few, but they are either too dull and dark looking or too bright and end up looking clownish. i like moisturizing lipsticks with a little shine.

Hi suthrnqt,

You look like you're around the same shade as me . I'm very fond of rocking the red lip and know how difficult it can be to find that perfect in-between color. I find that it is usually pretty difficult to find red lipsticks that have a lot of shimmer in them, so whenever I want to spice up my lipcolor I'll generally just go over the color with a bit of gloss. Below are some of my all time favorite moisturizing red lipsticks.
