makeup for medium/dark skintones? nars turkish delight?

i am about gabrielle unions skin tone, i have alot of golden and yellow undertones, would nars lipgloss in turkish delight look good on my skin tone or would it be too light? also what makeup would you reccommend for me? i have dark dark brown eyes and hair to match. please be specific with products, i have sensitive skin also

i have a darkish skin tone also i think im a little lighter then gabriell union so my shade would not be for you but i have sensitive skin and kinda dry well lets say i have dry skin....i have been using the bare minerals customize 8-piece get started kit with no problems i would say look at the shades online they tell you the undertones that would match you and find a color or go to your local store but the great thing about powder is you can make it lighter or heavy to fit you.

I am about your complexion I think. i too have dark skin with warm golden/yellow undertones and I wear Make Up forever HD in #175 and the MUFE mat velvet + foundation in #75. Finding foundation with our undertone is a bit difficult let me warn you. I also wear the Body Shop's oil free balancing foundation in #9.

If you have sensitive skin I would check out the foundations from Korres, Clinique and Bobbi Brown.

I got the Bobbi Brown face touch-up stick in no. 7.5 Warm Walnut and I use it as an under-eye concealer. It's very creamy but I think I want to try out the Make up Forever HD concealer as I've heard good things.

You should test out your foundation in person if you get the chance, that's always best IMO.

Be careful with NARS. I love their products but their marketing machine is monstrously good. I use that adjective because they have a habit of promoting certain products as "universal shades" and they're NOT. I bought Orgasm blush and it is terrible on me, just looks like I'm sweating. I have a feeling that turkish delight is a great shade for anyone up to Kim Kardashian or Rihanna's skintone. beyond that I'm not too sure.

I looove Benefit's Benetint rose liquid blush. Smells divine and gives a realy natural flush to my cheeks and doesnt come off despite my oily skin.

Some MAC products I like:

Blush: Raizin, Well Dressed, Virgin Isle Cream color base, Peaches, Pinch Me

Eyeshadows: parfait amour, Carbon, Contrast, beautiful Iris, freshwater, juxt, beauty marked, club, embark, bamboo, paradisco, arena, sushi flower, swish, purple haze, and many others.
