Can anyone recommend a shade/color of the Buxom full-on lip polish that doesn't have glitter (or at least the glitter is very mild) AND isn't too neutral?   *I have an olive complexion and a pink tint to my lips already.   Thanks, in advance, for any suggestions!

Hello beautiful ladies! I hope one of you is able to help me out with this question.   So I know nothing about lip liners other than those from MAC. Now that I have run out of my beloved MAC Cork, I thought this was a good time to test other lip liner formulas. Can any of you tell me of a solid dupe for Cork? I'm super interested in seeing what other brands have to offer. Thank you!

I recently read that you should match the color of your lip liner to your lip color no matter what color lipstick you wear - is this true? It seems odd - I have always matched my lip liner color to my lipstick color.  I like to wear mauve shades, I can't imagine wearing a liner that is my lip color (pink-red) with that color lipstick..

Hi All,  I know there are actual lip stains, but what other lip products do you recommend that will leave lips stained when the initial product wears off.

Can you recommend a lipstick that matches this color but does not look barbie-ish?

Does anyone else have an issue with their lip line being uneven due to dry skin? It kind of looks like I have tiny clogged pores but I think it's really just dry skin. I try to exfoliate on a regular basis but so far it's not working. Any suggestions on how to make it go away?

Generally I've been more of a natural lips kind of girl.  I've gravitated to more glosses and balms and even when branched out to lipsticks, I've tended towards more neutral, wearable shades.   Now I've decided I want to be more playful with my makeup, especially because I love purples.  I picked up Bite Violet and absolutely love it.  The color is super flattering with my skin tone and hair and just playful enough without going too crazy.   BUT...I'm noticing when I go for a bolder lip color it seems to call attention to any imperfections in my skin.  Has anyone noticed that as well?  I'm feeling like maybe I might need a fuller coverage foundation for the days I want a bolder lip.   Edited to add: When I've been wearing my violet lipstick I'm also wearing a full face of makeup (foundation, blush, smokey eye, brow makeup, etc.) so it isn't as if I'm bare faced with only lipstick.

Hi, I'm looking for a tried and true lip primer to especially use with the new Tom Ford lipsticks I just purchased? Specifically, I have some trouble spots on my lips that get so dry I pick at them and I'm finding that most primers that I like that are moisturizing tend to be too greasy and don't seem to do that matte lipstick colors enough justice. If it helps, I bought Pussycat and Ruby Rush. I also like wearing YSL lip stain, but don't feel like that lasts long on my lips with current primer.   I'm currently using Napoleon's lip primer, and had previously tried Too Faced's primer and didn't like it. Any help is greatly appreciated - even if you have some curing suggestions for my lips, those would be helpful as well - I feel like I've tried everything under the sun. Neosporin, Softlips, Rose Salve, Chanel moisturizer, Dior's Lipglow, Kiehl's lip balm/ointment, and most recently  Baume de Rose by Terry & Sugar lip treatment by Fresh. Shoot, I'm sure there's more - that's how bad it gets / I am!   Thank you!

This is one of the most beautiful sets we've ever done. The Watercolor theme is playful and has inspired such pretty hues. This set is unique in that we've included some colours that are a little unusual, a pastel yellow and a mint green. These two shades, are sheer washes of colour and look great when mixed with some of the other glosses in the set or layered over top of other lipstick shades. The first six are sheer, and more diluted while the last six are more pigmented.  Right now I'm loving the combination of #4 (a pale lilac shade), layered over Violet Luminous Creme Lipstick. It lightens the colour and adds such a beautiful shine. All of the glosses are super portable and can be easily layered and matched with your favourite lip products!

Say that 5 times fast!  Any one else have issues with their Marc Jacobs lip lacquers leaking?  For the longest time I couldn't figure out what in my makeup bag was leaking. Everything was sort of oily, but sticky.  I finally solved the mystery when I wiped everything off, and had put my MJ lacquer in my makeup drawer. I grabbed it this morning and it was all sticky, along with the divider it was in.  Did I get a defective one? The lid has always been on tight.

I am looking for some sort of long lasting lip stain, stick, gloss. It hard to find something that packs a punch of color but stays all day and is moisturizing. Any suggestions?

At the latest Rouge event, I purchased YSL #13 glossy stain, Rose Tempura.  I applied it and It was beautiful on with its pinky red and not visible gold shimmer.  Yesterday, I wore it all afternoon and well into late at night.  I noticed only then that it looked very similar to YSL #11 Rouge Gouache on me.  So today I tried them on side by side in bright daylight.  They look so similar.  Of course, the Rouge is red, and the Rose is strawberry red, but if you didn't know you were looking at two different colors, you wouldn't be able to tell (experimented several times with people, no one got it right ):   I don't know what to do.  I love the formula, that's why I bought the new color, and I love the color, but I don't know if I should exchange to get a new color that is not as similar instead.   http://www.sephora.com/rouge-pur-couturevernis-a-l evres-glossy-stain-P304003?skuId=1466903   Have you found yourselves in this situation, and what have you done?

Does anyone have any suggestions? I believe pinker shades look best on me.  I have fair skin with freckles and i'll post a picture of my natural lip color.    Ignore how awk/weird the pic is lol

I'm a lip liner junkie and I love nothing more than filling in my lips before applying lip color and also drawing a little outside of the line. My go to product is UD's lip liner but there doesn't seem to be a color close enough to Vintage. I'd also use it for Kat Von D's LUV. I already own Ozone, the clear lip liner, and since I like to draw outside the line a bit Ozone doesn't work well for me.   Any suggestions? I see Makeup Forever has one in Purple 13C that might work.   Thanks!

I am interested in purchasing subject items with warm undertones.  Can someone please note the warm toned colors in both the crayons and pencils.  I have seen the pictures of these items on the Sephora website but don't know how to identify the warm colors.  Appreciate a reply.

I fell in love with BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Lead the way.  I then bought the dior contour lipliner pencil to go with it.  What I have found is that the lipliner seems to bleed a little bit.  It may be me, but is there another lipliner that you can suggest?  And which color to go with Lead the Way?

Is there a trick to keep tube lipstick from getting oddly shaped? I have several tubes that started slanted and now the tips are so thin, I'm afraid they will break. I know I need to start out using it evenly, but is there a way to rescue tubes I've "ruined"?

I am looking for a dupe for Makeup Forever's rouge artist intense #34. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi: I'd like to purchase a coral, matte, long-wear lip product that was made somewhere with decent labor practices (like the US, Canada, Western Europe, Singapore, Korea, or Japan).  What would you suggest? Thanks in advance!

So I think I have about 5 lippies so far. But currently Mac Canada has a promo for free shipping (no min.) so I thought I might add another lippie or two to the collection. So far I have: Venus, Abby, Ruby Woo, Sin and Studded Kiss, Any suggestions? Thanks

Will they have an official launch date or will stores just put them out when they get them in stock?

I have just recently discovered Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Crème and have fallen in love. This lipstick lasts all day and my lips feel great while wearing it! Are there any similar lipsticks out there? I previously was hooked on Too Faced Melted Lipsticks but they really don't compare to Marc Jacobs as I frequently needed to use Chapstick as my lips were drying out and reapplication was frequent. Also, the Too Faced was a little sloppy looking compared to Marc Jacobs.  But back to the real question: are there any VERY SIMILAR lipsticks to Marc Jacobs Lip Crème? I would like to purchase many more but wish the color selection was wider. I am preferably looking for a nude-ish color.  Thanks in advance!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has advice for getting a light soft pink lip when you have dark lips. I have medium neutral skin but I have pretty dark pigmented lips. I see pictures of people with soft baby pink lips and I really want to get that look, but can't seem to do it. I've wasted so much money trying different products. Whenever I try a light pink lipstick it looks streaky and the pigment gathers in the lines of my lips.    I had a some luck with using a light nude lipliners all over the lips. I tried then putting the light lipstick on top. I also tried using a light lipgloss. But either way, it still doesn't look soft. The color starts to look kind of cakey and then the pigment of the lipliner mixes with  liptsick and then it starts to look streaky. The color also gathers on the inside of my lips and gets clumpy there.    Any advice? Or do I just stick to darker lipcolors?
