I'm looking for a lipstick to get a friend with skin that looks a bit like this: She likes mauve pink lipsticks but I want to get her something crazy like red or fuschia (try something new once in a while)! Would that match that kind of skin color? Any recommendations? Thanks!
Hello there, my pretties! Are we ready for spring yet? I am not necessarily ready for sun ( ), but I know I'm ready to bust out some bright colors and create my own spring magic. Rules are - there are no rules. ( Except - you must have fun! That's obligatory! ) We do feel like brights and pastels during the spring most of the time, but you do whatever you feel like doing. You do you! Try to go through your stash, and introduce us to a new pretty each day. If brights are not your cup of tea, this challenge is an excellent way to try to, well - challenge yourself. But, they are not a must. We are planning on doing this all spring long! Please, feel free to stop by whenever. So... Keep calm and put your lipstick on! My plan ( and goal ) is to shop my own stash. No buying new lipsticks, just giving some love to all my neglected lovelies. Let's see how will that go... Anyone else have an allergic reaction on their lips to Bite Beauty products? I know they have all natural ingredients, which is why I'm perplexed. I've tried two different products from them and end up with eczema-like cuts on my lips.
HI everyone, I've come to the realization that I look best with cooler toned nude lips but I can't seem to find anything that doesn't come off as orange or too pink on my lips. I'm pretty fair skinned with brown eyes and blonde hair. I usually like using lip liners more than lipsticks but will settle for something that hits the mark. Thanks!

Hello all! I have very similar coloration to Karen Gillan as she appears in the tragically underrated TV series "Selfie" - I have yet to find a pink that doesn't wash me out in some way and would love to find a lipstick/gloss/crayon to replicate the color(s) below! Help me Sephora experts! You're my only hope??
I know this is kinda last minute and I'm not sure if anyone would be able to help me. But my mom loves Revlon Color stay in the shade iconic but I've heard her say before the staying power isn't as great. Does anyone know any lip product that has like the same shade or almost similar with great staying power? Thanks.
Hi, I am new to Sephora and recently had the SA match my foundation and concealer. I would like to order lip colors online using my color IQ (I have 3 different values but all within a range) but I can't seem to get the lip colors to show online. Where can I use my Color IQ online to view flattering lip colors?
I am fair skinned, with freckles. I tried the matte gloss, it was hard to apply, and moved everywhere! So, I think I will use a lip stick this time, I liked Bawse, but it was a shade too bright for me. Is there anyone who could recommend a good lipstick for me? The pictures online are very hard to judge. I would just like a red that isn't as bold bright wise as Bawse, maybe a shade deeper (which I thought it appeared to be online). Thanks so much!
Look at what landed on my desk this morning! Kat Von D's Everlasting Lip Liner Nude Set will be live (early) tomorrow. T his gorgeous set of five nude lip liners will be available for 48 hours only and you get all five liners for the price of four.
In case you haven't tried KVD's lip liners yet, the formula is vegan, super creamy and applies like a dream. While the product is creamy and easy to use, the formula also has amazing staying power, similar to the Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks. I'm wearing OG Lolita and the formula is comfortable and budge-proof without feeling dry.
Swatch time! From left to right, th e colors are Bow N Arrow, Crucifix, Hawkind, OG Lolita and Por Vida.
Has anyone tried KVD's Everlasting Lip Liners yet? Let us know!
I've noticed that peach lip colors are really in lately, and I want to get in on the trend. I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a more neutral peach lip color (nothing too neon) that will look good on lighter skin tones?
Every bride deserves to feel gorgeous in the event of her wedding. So going all out to hire makeup professionals for bridal makeup or doing the bridal makeup by self, the facial makeup contributes more than 70% of confidence to the bride about her appearance. Understandably, the lips have to do loads and loads of kissing on this day, so the bride or whoever is responsible for making her up must ensure that the lip makeup is such that outlives the several kissing that will necessarily be thrown at it. Brides do not have the luxury of time to stress about issues that could have easily been fixed such as touching up lip makeup. It is absolutely unacceptable for the bride’s lip makeup to fade out or smudge not to mention stain her groom. On this note, it is important to be armed with a number of products that will ensure a long lasting lip makeup that will pass the test of many kisses, eating and even drinking.
For lip color of long lasting value, we are familiar with the usual liquid lipstick. Works like a lip gloss, only that it dries and stays exactly where you want it. With this, the bride feels confident and does not have any worries about smudging or even staining the groom with her lip color. The following are long lasting products for bridal lip makeup:
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick
Sephora Creme Lip Stain
Fiona Stiles Color Impact Matte Lip Crayon
Flower Color Proof Long-Wear Lip Creme
Revlon Colorstay Overtime
Here are some expert pieces of advice for how to do a bridal lip makeup that will last long enough: 1. Line the lips: The first hack is to line the lips and with the same lip liner, fill in the entire lip. After this, use your long lasting lipstick on the lips as the first coat and then pat with tissue right before you apply again. 2. Lip gloss rule: If you must apply lip gloss, make it very sparing because it has the tendency of taking off the lip color. 3. Use Lip Stain: it’s best to use a lip stain for the perfect bridal lip makeup. With just a sparing coat of gloss on the stain, you are a go! 4. Prep and Prime: The need for skin and lip preparation before the wedding event is necessary. The fact is that without adequately preparing the lips, only the lip makeup will not do the magic. Just as the skin needs proper prepping, the lips must be well cared for before this day.
I'm looking for a reliable black lipstick hat won't fade or smudge. so far I see that Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick has the color black and I'm curious if this works for anyone? Or if someone has a better recommendation?
Hi all. I am looking for recommendations for a liquid lipstick for my wedding day that is long-wearing and looks good with my fair skin, brown hair with blonde highlights, and brown eyes. My lips have very little natural color, just have a slight pink tint. I am looking for maybe a pinky-nude, not something too orange or brown. I've heard Kat Von D liquid lipsticks are very long-wearing but all of the colors seem a little wild. Pinky-Nude lip: My natural Lip color (My hair is a little darker now):
