I was looking at these for a long time, but for some reasons never really got into them and didn't pull the trigger... I have a few questions for you all about them! 1. Do they ever dry out your lips? 2. How long do they last? thanks in advanced :*
In the new Buxom Serial Kisser set, there is a color called "centerfold" that I fell absolutely in love with (as well as Mistres) but I can't find full-sized versions... are these colors limited edition for this set only?? The full bodies lipstick have so few choices and such a great formula, it makes me so sad. I searched everywhere and I can't find a full sized. I don't want to buy a whole other set just for these minis because I'm not in love with the other colors... le sigh
hello! i wanted to try some products sold in sephora for my extremely chapped lips....i've tried burt's bees chapstick, the brand chapstick, maybelline my baby lips, etc. nothing is working very well for me. i prefer a tube-like product, so i don't have to dip my fingers in the actual product, but please PLEASE help! thanks so much! happy holidays! xo
I bought the OCC Lip Tar set that came with the 4 mini lip tars + 1 brush. It's so hard to get all the lip tar out of the brush and the lip tar is so pigmented that unless I get all of it out, it bleeds into my new color. What way have you found that gets all the lip tar out of the brushes?
I have only found one blog about it, but I would like to know everyone else's experience on it before I attempt on it on my on because I'm afraid that it could change the consistency of the product or I end up messing up and wasting it. Doesn't suck that you have to sharpen Nars Lip pencils? What a waste of product >.< Please and Thanks =]
I'm looking for a medium red lipstick (as opposed to bright or dark) with a pearly finish. I thought it would pretty fun for the holidays and something different from all my cream lipsticks. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!
I love Stila Beso for a red matte lip, but am worried about wearing it out because I know that if it flakes, it becomes very hard to fix. Does anyone have any pointers on how to deal with it if it flakes? I have heard that this liquid lipstick can not be touched up, that it can only be removed entirely and reapplied. Advice?
Stila's lip glaze in cranberry is a really great brown red and I want moreeee! Anyone wanna share their favorite with me? That color is also referred to as brick red right? I'm still learning my lip color vocabulary guyz.
Ohmygoodness! I went into Sephora last Sunday for some fragrance samples (to decide which perfume I want for Christmas) and I walked by the Bite display and saw this BEAUTY! I think the color "Bramble" is absolutely stunning, and looked wonderful on my skintone My dilemma: I do not think 0.09oz of product is a good deal at $24, and would like to find a cheaper alternative. I'm looking for this exact shade, doesn't matter if it's found in a pencil, lip gloss, or lipstick. Can anyone help? This is what the shade looks like
So i love lip gloss mostly because lipstick isn't too great for me. I have really dry lips that I cant get rid off. My Neutrogena lip balm with SPF 20 is a must every morning and night or my lips will bug me the whole time. I usually place my balm on before I use my mac creme sheen or Lancôme lip sticks. I tend to stay within the deeper pinks it's a natural color for my lips. so to my point(: what lip glosses do any of you recommend ? Or love? any great lip glosses that aren't really thick and sticky? Ive been thinking about trying out Loracs lip with Benefit lip gloss in the color: Chuck(nude). pix = the color of lipstick I tend to stick to and would love a lip gloss in that color. The lighting is kinda bad.sorry.
I own a...lot.... of lipsticks. Recently I was cleaning up my makeup stash and I found an old lipstick palette from Sephora, so I cleaned out the lipsticks and everything and I'm trying to decide if I want to "build" my own lip palette. On one hand it would be great to be able to see all some of my lipsticks together when doing my makeup. On the other hand, I'm scared to chop up some of my lipsticks. What do you guys think?
I have a few samples/palettes that require lip brushes for application. I bought the Sephora Collection Pro Lip Brush #81 (shown below), but I'm not a fan of it. Perhaps I don't know how to use it. Either way, I'm not getting the results I want. Anyone have a suggestion on a lip brush for dummies? It doesn't have to be from Sephora. I'd also be okay with someone telling me exactly how to use a lip brush.
I may not have looked hard enough but i tried using the search menu and cant seem to find the peaceful tint of the Tarte liptints , i was looking for a nude tint from them since theyre hydrating but exposed simply did not work for me and it was looking like peaceful would.
Ok, so not scared per se, but this is for people who want to wear lip stick but are having a hard time adjusting to it. I for one would love to get more into wearing things beyond lip balm (as I am so notorious for doing). But its hard! Those of us who are used to naked lips need support and encouragement as we foray into this wide world of color and stuff... Look here is some cuteness for inspiration. I also have the added problem of having lip rings (I have what is apparently called a "spider bite" style piercing which is two rings close together.) It makes it even harder not to make a complete mess.
I have been loving the trend for vivid and deep lipsticks but I often want more wear and coverage than I get from lipstick alone. I have medium brown skin and pretty pigmented two-tone lips. I've tried the "same color as your lips" liner thing but I don't like how it alters the color of my lipsticks. I have a clear liner from Sephora brand which I love for increasing wear but it obviously doesn't help with coverage. I am considering colored liner but I'm not sure where to start. Do I really need a new one for every shade? Is this a good one? http://www.sephora.com/retractable-waterproof-lip- liner-P257801?skuId=1214568
I am head over heels for Lancôme Gloss In Love, but I don't always want a lip gloss with so much glitter in it. In fact, I would love to have one that's similar in texture with no glitter in it at all for everyday at work. (I work in tech, too much makeup is a bad thing.) Basically, I'd like one that isn't very sticky/tacky and doesn't clump or crust over time or when you reapply. I work in a very dry office - the kind where there is a fake ceiling and a fake floor so they can keep the electronics happy. No matter how much water I drink, I'm always a mummy by the end of the day, so it can't be drying at all (I still love you, YSL glossy stains). Suggestions?
Im curious what are your favorite transfer-proof or at least "less transferring" lipstick. My husband has been getting a little weird when I wear dark lipcolor (admittedly since I ruined one of his favorite hoodie) LOL
I just happened to see a teeny tiny little sign about this promo 2 months ago, forgot all about it but my phone calendar helpfully reminded me! Now until the 15th while supplies last, get a free mini chubby stick intense in Broadest Berry or MightiestMaraschino with a skin consultation. Pretty sure this is nationwide ( not sure about Canada, though). Is it sad that I went to 2 Macy's to get both? ( There are 2 stores within 5 miles of me so it's not as bad as it sounds, right?)
Okay so this is going to take me admitting I watch Awkward :X But I LOVE this lipstick shade and have been trying for a week to figure out what it is http://images.tvfanatic.com/iu/t_full_l/v138363779 8/team-jenna.png Please help! I don't care if it's from Sephora or Mac I just want it
my dear BBFFs, I thought you would know (since you collectively know EVERYTHING!) whether it's appropriate to touch up lipstick at work and how do you do it? I've been wanting to wear more pigmented lipsticks at work instead of my normal reapply-without-needing-to-look lip gloss. However, since my lips are dry I need to apply gloss sometimes once every half hour. If it's lipstick I definitely need a mirror. Popping off to the ladies room every half hour just to touch up lipstick is probably not a great idea. Is it ok to pull out the mirror at work, in a meeting, in the cafeteria, etc? Or should I just stick with the boring non-pigmented gloss?
Hey girls, So I was just told that one of the members of OCC Cosmetics happens to be undergoing her own gender reassignment surgery in Thailand, and was launching a limited edition lip tar in the color ' January Rising '. All the proceeds went to help her with her funding the surgery. Now that she's got the money to get the surgery done, she still has some left if anyone is interested in one for themselves ?. It's a really gorgeous bright pink shade !. Just thought i'd post this as I hear so many rave about their products :-)
