I just happened to see a teeny tiny little sign about this promo 2 months ago, forgot all about it but my phone calendar helpfully reminded me! Now until the 15th while supplies last, get a free mini chubby stick intense in Broadest Berry or MightiestMaraschino with a skin consultation. Pretty sure this is nationwide ( not sure about Canada, though). Is it sad that I went to 2 Macy's to get both? ( There are 2 stores within 5 miles of me so it's not as bad as it sounds, right?)
my dear BBFFs, I thought you would know (since you collectively know EVERYTHING!) whether it's appropriate to touch up lipstick at work and how do you do it? I've been wanting to wear more pigmented lipsticks at work instead of my normal reapply-without-needing-to-look lip gloss. However, since my lips are dry I need to apply gloss sometimes once every half hour. If it's lipstick I definitely need a mirror. Popping off to the ladies room every half hour just to touch up lipstick is probably not a great idea. Is it ok to pull out the mirror at work, in a meeting, in the cafeteria, etc? Or should I just stick with the boring non-pigmented gloss?
Did anyone get the MAC Hautecore lipstick on Black Friday? Or if you didn't get your hands on it, will you get it in the upcoming Punk Couture collection? I kinda wanna get it because it is LE but I kinda don't and I wanna try black lipstick. I've seen more and more ladies wear black and it looks amazing. It's the ultimate vampy lip. Wet N' Wild has a matte black lipstick called Pagan Angel that is better quality and it's $2.99 compared to Hautecore's $15 price tag. Do you think its worth getting Hautecore or should I get Pagan Angel instead?
Im curious what are your favorite transfer-proof or at least "less transferring" lipstick. My husband has been getting a little weird when I wear dark lipcolor (admittedly since I ruined one of his favorite hoodie) LOL
So I was at Walgreens on my lunch today and came across a mini sized tub of vaseline, the kind for your lips. Then I noticed that they came out with a new option! It smells like roses, kind of reminds me of Dior's Creme de Rose. The tint is a light pinkish color when you apply it on the lips, but it looks much more pigmented sitting in the tub. I just thought I'd share my adorable find with everyone because I love lip products and I especially love cute little versions of products too!
According to the examiner sephora pulled celebutard of the shelves due to an outrage across the Internet a celebutard is defined by urban dictionary is a famous stupid person. Sephora has issued an apology but what do you guy and girls think?
Hey girls, So I was just told that one of the members of OCC Cosmetics happens to be undergoing her own gender reassignment surgery in Thailand, and was launching a limited edition lip tar in the color ' January Rising '. All the proceeds went to help her with her funding the surgery. Now that she's got the money to get the surgery done, she still has some left if anyone is interested in one for themselves ?. It's a really gorgeous bright pink shade !. Just thought i'd post this as I hear so many rave about their products :-)
I'm on the lookout for a fantastic MLBB, the elusive perfect pinky nude. I am very fair, with dark hair and light eyes (my avatar is me). What do you all suggest? I want something moisturizing, and probably not 100% opaque unless it really is a perfect color. I was thinking more YSL Sheer Volupté opacity. If it's expensive, but amazing, I'm willing!
Hey girls, 2 part question here for you. So I am currently wanting to add to my ' wish list ' and I need your suggestions of brands that carry the most pigmented, most sought after and most colour selection lipsticks. Now it can be from High End / Drugstore as well. Second question is I am wanting to try out MAC lipsticks at some point. What colour's are worth the the price paying for it ?. So far I have my eyes on Diva & Media.
I have already have really pigmented lips, like the kind where if I wear just a clear lip balm it looks like I'm wearing lipstick. What can I do to be able to wear lighter colours like a peachy pink, or a light coral? I have medium/light olive skin tone, dark brown/red hair and dark brown eyes if that helps.
I've been searching, like so many ladies, for the perfect shade of lipstick. I have l a fair/medium complexion with warm tones, dark brown eyes and blonde/light brown hair (highly complimented whenever I wear burnt orange or golden yellow tops). I'm looking for something with a matte finish and not outrageously bright, maybe with a vague 1940's/1950's classic feel. (Obviously way too much BBC period dramas lately for me!)
I'm trying to find a good dark shade of lipstick for myself. I wear red lipstick frequently and after some trial and error, I found that I look better with red lipstick/lipstain that has more orange undertones. I always see pictures or commercials where the model is wearing plum and dark purple lipstick and I absolutely love the look. I was wondering for some help from everyone if they can.
This evening I wandered around a SiJCP for the first time and noticed a different Sephora Favorites lip collection! It's called Lip Service, and it's only available at SiJCP. I should have taken a picture of it, because now I can't remember everything in it. Definitely mini Tarte Glamazon, a Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil, Smashbox Be Lengendary Lipstick, maybe an OCC Lip Tar?, and a couple others I forget. So if anyone wanted some of the things from the Give Me More Lip set but didn't want to buy the whole thing, this might be something to look for!
I get extremely dry, peeling lips during the cold weather. Even after exfoliating, a few hours later they are gross again. I need a super powerful lip balm. I like the texture of Fresh, but it just seems to sit on top my lips. Same goes for L'Occitane. I can't stand the Jolly Rancher smell of Josie Maran's lip balm. Please halp!
Has anyone who ordered this item received it yet? I ordered it online on the 7th , and recently went into the store to swatch Josie Marans cheek gelee. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a display with Bite dual lipsticks and noticed how tiny they were . Since I was in line and in a hurry I dont remember how how many lipsticks were in the display so it couldve been the lip kit i saw or the collectors item. I recently tried to access the page to read the description again because for some reason either my reading comprehension was faulty or it just escaped my mind that the items would be so miniscule , especially for that price
Before last week I had 4 Glossy Stains, but of course wanted to add one more... well after much swatching & playing I ended up with what I think is the last one that really works with my skin tone/that I like? But I still want more stain/gloss/liquid lipsticks. I have a few of the stila, and they are just OK. I did NOT like the MUFE... it reminded me of the cheap drugstore ones & they really dried out my lips. So I need your help! Which of the ones below have you tried & how do they compare to the YSL? I love that the YSL Glossy Stains are easy to reapply, don't transfer much, and are hydrating. Hourglass- I heard the only way to reapply is to completely take it off. Is this true? OCC Lip Tar- I'd probably would purchase one of the mini sets Bite Cashmere Lip Cream - I know 0 about them except that a cast member was wearing it last week in the store & it was "WOW bold lip" bareMinerals Shiseido Guerlain Ardency Inn Becca Kat Von D So BBFFs? What have you tried... liked/dislike? Comparable to Glossy Stain? Oh & favorite shades? I'm ready to be enabled! *~* Please no drugstore product suggestions, every drugstore lip product I ever fell into the hype has left me disappointed. Thanks ~*~
I've been reading a lot of great reviews about Lipstick Queen lipsticks and they do have some gorgeous shades for fall. I'd never even heard of the line until I was looking at makeup on Ulta. I'm always on the look out for a new lipstick! Has anyone tried this brand and if so, is it worth a try?
Long story short, I've done every eye look but my lipstick is always Too Faced La Crème Lipstick in Spice Spice Baby. It's so flattering on my Asian skintone! However, I fell in love with some TF La Crème and UD Revolution lipstick swatches online, and skipped to the store to try them out. Unfortunately, I was disappointed that none of the colors were flattering on me. I think they may have been too pigmented & dramatic, especially the cool-toned pinks which stood out too much. So, I'm turning to you ladies! Any recommendations? I have light-medium skin with yellow undertones and jet black hair/brows (Asian ethnicity). My color IQ from summer is 1yo6. I'm looking for medium warm-toned colors, especially warm pinks, corals, and roses, that are more natural VS bold. I'm also looking for natural/cream finishes (no frost or shimmer) from midrange (like MUFE, MAC, or Lancôme) to drugstore prices (sadly no Dior or YSL). I'll pick moisturizing over long-lasting! Also, I thought it might be helpful to mention that I have medium to full lips, but a small mouth (I always give the dentist trouble) so perhaps I need something more sutble than others. I would truly appreciate it if you can help me out. I will swatch your recommendations next time. Thank you!
