Another look at Cava vs Thistle

I feel like Cava doesn't really show up on me that much, due to the fact that it is not that opaque, so I am super excited to try my Thistle once it gets here.

Also really loving whiskey. It is the true deep brown I've been looking for.

I also tried blending it with squid ink for fun and came out with something similar to black truffle.

Wow! Mochapj, Whiskey looks great on you! And that mix of Whiskey and Squid Ink does look a bit like Black Truffle with maybe a little more warmth to it? Good idea! It almost reminds me a bit of Kat von D's Piaf.

Also, I am currently contemplating Squid Ink, since I have been looking for a good dark blue. I own Kat Von D's Poe, and while I love the tone and metallic nature, I cannot stand its patchiness. Does Squid Ink lean more warm than Poe?

I don't know if it's warmer, but it's definitely darker, and not patchy at all. It's also not metallic though.

It might work really well to put Poe over Squid Ink, or at least pat it in the center.
