Hi ladies! I've never commented on this thread before, but I found it while googling Bite Beauty lip swatches, since I am so obsessed. Due to your lovely pictures, I received Thistle in the mail today and it's so lovely! On me it leans more neutral and less gray. Cava was one of my absolute favorites from the Luminous Creme line, and while Thistle isn't the same, it reminds me of its more opaque, more grey, more mauve older sister. This color is such a chameleon, I can't even properly describe it! Either way, I love it and thank you so much for posting all the pictures! It helped to make up my mind, though I love it even more than I expected!

Question for the folks here: According to an IG post, BITE is saying only Lavender Jam and Taro are LE, and the other shades will be permanent.

It may be word of company, but can this be confirmed anywhere else? (Before I purchase backups only to find out it's permanent...)

I've seen Bite post that a couple times on IG now. I'm inclined to believe them, but no, I haven't seen that posted elsewhere.

So someone asked on Temptalia and the response was basically "If Bite says so, go with it."

The only shade now marked as "Limited Edition" on Sephora is Taro.

That seems promising--maybe they'll just add them all as permanent?

Thistle and Lavender Jam arrived today! Looks like Kale and Squid Ink are delayed to arrive next week (even though I ordered them at the same time - sigh). I'm surprised with how both of these look on me - Thistle is a bit greyer than I anticipated (I don't mind, though) and Lavender Jam is - I think - not awful on me. I actually like it much more than I originally thought I would.

Aw, thank you, Inum! It's a very pretty cool-toned nude. I'm looking forward to comparing it to Prey when I pick it up in June (Mocha's swatches make it look quite similar).

I have to tell you. I think Lavender Jam looks absolutely amazing on you. Thistle is gorgeous as well...but that Lavender Jam is pretty darn special!! 🙂

Thank you, Bem! I'm really surprised by Lavender Jam. I thought for sure I would like Thistle more and that LJ would be just ok on me, but I like LJ even more! I'm so glad it worked out.

Thank you for posting this! I am so excited about all of the colors, but in particular, I can't wait to try squid ink because I have Disciple from Illamasqua, which is too drying and patchy, and Kat von D's Poe, which is too sparkly for me. This one looks like it might be a winner 🙂

I'd been waiting to see Temptalia's swatches! Squid Ink and Lavender Jam look amazing, as does Kale.

Squid Ink seems to be a navy with some warm undertones! I love that shade of marine blue, and it's hard to come by. The closest shade I've seen in lipstick is Illamasqua Disciple, and Squid Ink seems like a deeper and better-quality version.

I'm looking forward to these a lot.
