Super behind the times dumb question...

So the name Frozen Berries is referencing the lipstick shades when used in conjunction with the opal and/or gloss on top to give the sort of wintery effect, yes? The lipstick shades alone are just berries, essentially...?

I think they named the collection frozen berries because frozen ones are typically more muted than their fresh versions. For example, rather than a bright red, frozen strawberries seem to have a darker red color...

But I like mocha said it's separate from the opal lipstick and gloss.

I think the berry part is due to them being made with blueberry and cranberry oil.

I don't think frozen is necessarily to do with the opal products, because those are coming out in Canada too, and supposedly frozen berries is a US collection.

I'm wondering this too. Some reviews of the Maple collection said that they were all to smell like maple. Does that mean the Frozen Berry collection will smell like berries? (...Or like freezer-burn?)

All the Canadian press the maple collection has gotten so far has said the maple collection is maple scented, so I think that part is true.

I thought the original stuff I read about frozen berry said they were berry scented too, but I can't 100% recall.  I don't think it's a stretch, since berry is one of the scents you can get at the lip lab.

The frozen part comes from the fact when you look at this collection a siren song starts up about the money in your wallet "let it go let it go!" JK 🙂

I do like how it looks swatched, but I'm still not sure about wearing blue sparkles on my lips no matter how fine. It IS very pretty though!

I like Plum, Juniper, and Barberry.  I kinda like Black Cherry too....but iI like Plum more.  I will pass on Elderberry and the Opals.

I like Plum and Juniper the most. Juniper seems to be that color that I gravitate towards most, so I wonder if it will be a dupe for many other shades I own and have wishlisted. Black Cherry is a gorgeous warm dark red, so it is tempting too, but I have two of 001 and a BITE Scarlet Lip Pencil. Barberry looks like the color of the Strangefruit gloss, which I am not very excited about. And Elderberry is one of those gorgeous dark colors which I will rarely touch but still love the look of.

Is the Matte Crème formula supposed to be a demi-matte?
