Thick Lip Balm
Hello! So, lately I've been searching around for a good night lip balm. I have my EOS which are amazing for day. However, I wan a super-thick lip balm for night. One that I would be able to still feel after I wake up, of possible. So, does anyone have any recommendations? Does the Rosebud Salve fit this description? Do any of the Lush lip balms fit this description? Any others? Thank you so much!

Bescause I have super dry lips, I find a lot of popular lip balms not thick enough, esp in the winter months.  At night, after I wash up, I goop on a nice thick lip balm right after, even before I put on my various serums, moisturizers.  I like the Smith's Rosebud Salve, Sugar's Lip Therapy, Dior's Lip Maximizer and Aquaphor.

Smith's Rosebud Salve in the tin, NOT the tube form.  Call me crazy, but I swear the formulation is diff in the tube and it's not as thick.  I have been through two tins to date.  Because this product is awesome for other things too, it goes where ever i go.  It's awesome as a cuticle cream.  If I have a runny nose, I would put some around my nose to prevent chapped skin around my nose.. that kind of thing.  It's got the consistency of Vaseline but slightly firmer.  And your lips will feel slippery like they would feel if you put Vaseline on your lips.  If you are desperate, Vaseline works too.  You will feel it hanging on your lips in the morning.

Sugar's Lip Therapy feels the lightest of all my favs.  It's got th Chapstick feel on your lips.  It might not feel like it's thick enough but it is very moisturizing.  I can still feela bit of it on when I wake up.

Dior's Lip Maximizer feels like a non-sticky lipgloss.  It's got this cooling sensation that lasts a while on your lips.  If you have any dry patches, it won't soften those dry patches immediately like the other ones do, but in the morning, those patches are gone.  it may feel weird to go to bed with something at feels like lipgloss, but it is totally worth it.  I think this has healed my lips; I feel less dependant on lip balms.

Aquaphor is an odd but useful one.  It's great on dry cracked heels, cutticle cream, dry elbows, etc.  This one is very similar to the Smith's Rosebud Salve but thicker.  This is what I use in deep winter when my lips are cracked and bleeding.
