Nude lips

I'm looking for a nude lipstick, something to go with dark, smokey eyes that I can wear on stage that won't rub off on my microphone.

I think the a lip stain is the best way to go or you can use a matte lipstick! I highly recommend the following shades for a nude lip.

I bought a really cute nude by Too Faced, its called the Lip of Luxury, in Toyally Nude. Cute tube and stays on well enought, I more like it for the shade of nude. It's different than my color but still nude so y Los don't disappear.

I love those suggestions. I will have to check out the YSL stain gloss. I don't think I've swatched that before.

The personally love the Bobbi Brown lip color for a pigmented lip color that is semi matte. The shade Beige (shown below) is a true nude, but she also has a shade called nude (slightly more pink) or sandwashed pink for a "your lips only better" shade. The staying power is very good for a lipstick but not a stain.

Kat Von D's Painted Love Lipsticks are pretty long lasting.  One of her reds lasted through an Italian meal! lol.  Celebutard is a beautiful light nude that works well with many eye looks.  If you decide on one of her lipsticks, you may want to wear a lip balm beneath it since they can be slightly drying at times.  I guess that's the price to pay for long lasting color lol.
