Favorite Fall Lipsticks
What are your favorite fall lipsticks? Lately I've been loving and wearing quite a few lipsticks, rotating them every day. They are:
Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 04 ( an extremely dark vampy violet. Revlon Va Va Violet is similar)
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 08 ( a dusty rose-nude)
Mac Ruby Woo
Wet N' Wild Cherry Picking
I think anyone can pull the vampy lip trend off if they tried. I love blue based dark red and purple lipsticks on fair (light to light-medium) ladies because I feel it looks very elegant Victorian vampire-esque.
Nice topic! Fall is one of my favorite times of year mainly because of the neutral fashion and makeup trends. I'm really loving the dark lipped look this season, couldn't agree more Victorian vampire is the perfect way to describe it. I like to pair mine with a full coverage foundation for a porcelain doll-like complexion. This is a great look for days that I'm in a hurry, just because I can throw on some winged eyeliner or some very subtle eyeshadows.
Hi there ilovetopurplefy,
I really love how the fall and winter seasons let me experiment more with that vampy or ice queen look. You really can't do frosty silver in the summer, or vampy dark blood red in the spring, but fall and winter are perfect!
I'm a big fan of those dark burgundy shades or even gold tones that have that shimmery bronzey effect. Paired with a cat eyeliner and a neutral blush and its perfect!
I've read that reds are definitely in for Fall, but I've only worn it a time or two so far. Here's what I've been reaching for for Fall:
Kat Von D Adora
Urban Decay Naked
I'm loving that I can start to wear my red since fall is here and I am wearing more makeup than I do in summer. Summertime, I usually wear gloss, but now I can wear my red and burgundy lipsticks. I also have a nude I cant wait to wear, I just haven't remembered it yet.
Hi, I really like the Kate Moss #09 and #11. I'm drawn to the vibrant shades, but don't wear them much as I don't dress up very often. Need to find some shades that are not too noticable to be worn either way.
Great topic! I love fall/winter because, you can wear deeper shades. I also love that my make up stays on longer because its not super warm out. Here are a few new ones I have my eyes on. Also a few classics that I always bring out for fall/winter.
