Buxom's London
I've been thinking of really exploring pink lipsticks, and I was hoping that Buxom's Big & Healthy Lipstick in London would look great on someone with dark brown hair and eyes, with medium skin (I use NW20 foundation from MAC)...
Also, this would be the first time I'd be using this product and I was wondering: Do you use it like a regular lipstick? Is it drying? I always use a lip primer, but is there anything else about the lipstick I should know about?
Hope that makes sense! Thanks so much and hope you have an awesome day! ![]()

Hi cure - I haven't tried the Buxom Lipstick yet. Sounds like you could do it over your lip primer and that it would stay a bit more than a general lipstick. It looks like a liner & lipstick combo. You could fill in your lips, over your primer, and underneath this lipstick for even more staying power, especially if you want to possibly put a gloss on top. I'll see if it's in one of the numerous Smashbox Auto-deliveries kits I got and haven't really checked out yet, I'll let you know. I was looking at two other things that I just put on my shopping list, The Buxom Big and Healthy Lip Varnish, I liked the look and sound of it, makes me thing my lips will feel a little juicy and that the color wouldn't suddently disappear on me.
The one that really sounds exciting to me is the Buxom iMix and Mingle Set which is $39.00 cross that out, it's on sale for $25.00!!!! It doesn't have London in it, but I think it's worth the investment, especially since it's on sale now!! I shouldn't really be advertising it that much. It would give you a good idea of how it feels and lasts and mixes with other colors and products, like the Buxom Gloss.. Have you ever tried the gloss? If not, that makes it an even better value. If you like it, you can always come back and get the London, which I think is a gorgeous color and is already on my shopping list., along with a million other things. So lets keep each other posted.
Hope this helped. Let me know where you end up with. Best of luck. ![]()

Hi Cure,
Buxom London is a really nice pale pink shade! I have it and it does have whitish pink undertones. You use it all over like a lipstick and it has an added tingle that plumps your lips. If you want to add some hydration and gloss, I suggest the Buxom Gloss in Samantha!

Hi Cure,
Also, if you are looking for a similar shade without the lip plumping. I suggest Lorac Babydoll - pale salmon. It is the perfect light pink shade with warm undertones.
