Hi ladies and gents, In keeping with the haul tradition, I thought I'd go ahead and start one for March! I can't WAIT to see all your fun and colorful goodies for the upcoming Spring season . This post is welcome to all, and as lilahtov said, a haul is a haul no matter how small .
I was thinking about the number of highlighters I have and then I wondered 'what's my total haul over time?' So I added everything up... 5 Foundations 15 Blushes 2 Concealers 3 Bronzers 9 Highlighters 2 Finishing powders 195 Eye shadows (15 singles, 113 in palettes, 57 in customizable palettes, and 10 pencil shadows) 60 eyeliners (51 liners, 3 double ended liners, 2 liquid and one rim liner) 2 Brow gels This is all active makeup - not stuff I've set aside for maybe trades, and does not include any backups. I forgot to count my lip stuff, I will have to do that later! What do you have?
The lovely MYchoi was fabulous enough to offer to ship me some delicious treats from California to Pennsylvania. She knows I LOVE Asian food but have no Asian markets near my homestead. Here are some of the wonderful things she included: ^Large flat rate box JAM-PACKED with goodies! ^Seaweed. ^Melon flavored gummies (one of my favorites!) and melon flavored hard candies. ^Green tea, panda, and strawberry pocky. I busted into the green tea pocky IMMEDIATELY! ^Various crackers/biscuits/pies. ^Bae, various mochi, and green tea swiss rolls (another fave). ^Strawberry Calpico, aloe drink, and melon yogurt drink. Do any of you have any favorite Asian foods, or foods from your culture or other cultures that you love?
I'd rather buy La Mer than spend my $$ going out tonight :x Normally my beauty hauls don't have much La Mer products in there thats why I decided to post this one because I am very excited to add to my La Mer collection!! Also SO excited to play around with the Naked 3 palette!!
Is it bad that on the first of the month I wake up like a kid at Christmas, turn on my computer, and proceed to shop my lil heart away?Is it bad that makeup hauls are always the first thing purchased? Is it bad...probably... Sorry... Psst....not sorry
I've been on the Ipsy waiting list, but still look at the thread. I thought we could have a shared thread from all the subscription boxes (including non-beauty ones likes underpants and lifestyle such as Wantable and POPSugar). That way we can live vicariously through each others goodies! (I know there are unboxing videos on YouTube, but I do not have the patience to sit through a five minute video about someone apologizing for the state of their hair. And I know there are blogs where I can see photos, but everyone usually gets different items in their boxes)
Hello lovely ladies! I figured I'd get an early start on the hauls thread for February, as it seems that many of us just can't get enough of the Spring collections! Plus, I know that everyone here loves getting packages Oh, and who could forget that Valentine's Day is coming up...and Mother's Day! P lease feel free to share to share your hauls. A haul is a haul no matter how small!
So.. I just realized how focused I get on makeup sometimes. I FINALLY found the two new Milani baked blushes after going to around 10 CVS around me PLUS a few Walgreens here and there. Thankfully my bf is so supportive and was the reason my motivation kept going at points. Ugh it was driving me crazy especially since CVS is having there BOGO right now. I jumped for joy when I finally found them with a partial sale. (Sad I know) Please tell me I'm not alone. haha Does anyone else get determined on finding a product, that they won't stop looking until they find it?
I am very happy to report how happy I am with the recent VIB lip gloss promo I recently received. It came with a Buxom Lipgloss in "Prow", Stila Lip Glaze in "Starfruit" and BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie in "Rebel". Very nice sizes and all for FREE.. .LOVE IT! Also included in my recent shipment (but not in promo of course) is Fresh Sugar Rose lip balm (my HG lip balm) Roses de Chloe and Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour Blush in "Amused."

I haven't bought myself a present since Feb 1st (I know, so long haha) because I'm trying to save money, but I decided I would allow myself to get something small from my loves list today, and I can't choose! Bite Agave lip mask, bite lippies (the duos are on sale!), Nars Kuaui (sp), stila stay all day lipgloss (trying to find a guiltless dupe for lime crime), stila mascara (my favorite), bite lip pencil, and urban decay nail Polish is what I keep adding and deleting from my basket... I want to spend enough to use a promo. Help me decide And on that note... Has anyone else been having problems posting? The post button keeps hiding behind our avatars no matter which computer I use lately
I JUST got the Naked 2 palette the other day to complete my collection, I'm getting the NARSissist palette for V-day (I think), I already have the Nars Kauai in my basket just waiting for me (thanks Lilatov ), but I CAN'T stop staring at the Tarte Be MATTEnificient palette, it's so pretty. I had a dream I went to Sephora last night at closing time and couldn't find it and the SA's were all yelling at me, LOL. It's so unnecessary right?? Tell me it's the dumbest and ugliest looking palette you've ever seen, that the fall-out actually drowns and chokes you because it's so bad, that the case is a huge piece of cr* that shattered all over your vanity, that the shadows are so chalky it makes you look like you just walked out of a volcano explosion... anything!
Go check out the current sample offerings, if you haven't already. I've been itching to try the GlamGlow, and the eye treatment AND the sexy mud mask are available. Florabotanica is there, too, and some other goodies! Get 'em while they're hot!
Hi all, I'm having the biggest dilemma of haul time. (Anyone? I thought it was funny ) I am trying to decide between the Nars Kauai duo (after which I've been lusting since its release) and the KVD Esperanza palette (see parenthetical statement above). Pretty palette for $36 or dynamic duo for $35? I really don't want to shell out for both, since I don't NEED either. Thoughts, my beloved BBFFs?
I'm going to England for a few days in March. It's going to be a quick visit for a wedding, so I'll only be there for a long weekend. I may get into London although it's not certain; the friend I would be meeting is probably not up for a beauty shopping spree. (I'm wondering if she's up to Westminster Abbey -- it's the place in the city I most want to see that I haven't had a chance to see in the past 20+ years and even then, not for long enough.) But I might have a bit of time to shop. The height of any other shopping is probably going to Marks and Spencers in Stains. With my husband, so I'm not sure what I can do there, either. But, I certainly can order things. We're staying with my in-laws so I can have things shipped and pick them up when I'm there. I've already ordered a couple of things that Clarins had on sale. So, is there anything wonderful that can only be found in the UK that I should look for? Anything newly released that I should try to find at Duty Free if I have airport time? I'm not planning to go nuts, but I'd love to know if there's something I should try to check out.
So I got a little mini haul today, super happy. I finally got the Naked 3 double liner. I've been excited to try black heart. Also bought the Naked pressed powder to go along with my foundation, and since my bday is close I got my birthday present. They SA was nice and gave me a rouge kit with the liner. I also picked up some sale polishes and a few samples. Didn't use my points on anything, I'm going to try to save them up for something great! I also went to the Clinique counter and got the two week sample of repair wear, and you get to come back in two weeks for another! Score! waiting for for the perfume promo to get a fragrance!
Hi guys, As some of you may know, I was eagerly awaiting a package containing my first (and probably not my last) brushes from Hakuhodo. I had done a lot of research beforehand, and I had to save up for a while for these babies. The ones I knew I wanted most were more expensive ones. Of course! Anyway, they arrived yesterday night, and I used them for the first time this morning. Holy moly, am I in love! Pics and descriptions below Less exciting ones first (from right): J5523 (for blending) and J142 (for the crease). Both Sokoho goat hair, both highly recommended by Christine (Temptalia). Then there are the ones I couldn't wait to get my hands on! The big black-handled brush is the G5519, a dense blue squirrel blush brush that is a dream to use for those who want a light and diffuse application (=me, always! ) The next one is my new eyebrow brush. I figured I could treat myself to something nice as I am very serious about my brows. This brush, the S163, is made of water badger hair, and it is much smaller than I thought it would be, which I actually like a lot. Finally, I purchased the S102, a paddle-type finishing brush that, like the blush brush, is 100% blue squirrel hair. It is unbelievable. I could pet my face with this and the G5519 forever! Haha. This one and the eyebrow brush are "special" because of their vermillion handles and gold-plated ferrules. They are part of Hakuhodo's "flagship" S100 line. For anyone considering buying a Hakuhodo brush, I can now personally attest to the craftsmanship and quality of the ones I received. I'm sure that with proper care, they will last me a long time. I also want to commend Hakuhodo for their lovely packaging--my brushes came in a beautiful, sturdy lavender box with bright orange tissue paper (my favorite color!) and the brushes were encased in plastic wrap. My biggest one, the S102, was actually triple wrapped to maintain its shape (see below)! I was impressed. That's all for now. I hope you guys approve, and thank you for allowing me to have shameless pride in this haul!
I am so excited... I just received my MAC order today and I am now the proud momma of 7 new lippies! What I picked up: Lady Danger (a replacement) Up the Amp Twig Lovelorn Speed Dial Show Orchid Viva Glam Riri I will post a picture soon
I know many people have been holding out til the New Year to make purchases, show us what you have snagged already in 2014. Well only if you are a crazy person like me and can't even last a day Can't wait to use these babies!
Hello, ladies! My birthday is rapidly approaching (I share the 31st with JT, actually) and I decided to gift myself a dress to wear for my birthday dinner. Personally, I adore dresses...there is one to suit every style and occasion and even though they can look so fancy, they're often the easiest (no pants in public, take that, world! ) I have a (very) soft spot for vintage and vintage-inspired fashions, so I snagged this modern take on a tea length pencil dress with an empire waist. I just love the pattern combo...and the fact that it was more than half off ($118 to $44!) I am already on the edge of my seat waiting for it to arrive! I hope you ladies like it...I value your opinions more than you know! Like I've told Missie772, a BBFF's opinion unquestionably means more! Of course, on the way, this cute little pinafore caught my eye...too good for casual wear to pass up, IMO. (So I got it, too.) Finally, tights! The polar vortex has it out for my legs and I am hoping to stay warm in style. These are a pair of "tattoo tights" that I thought looked very cool. That's all for now, folks! Please share with me your recent (or not-so-recent, if you're excited about 'em!) clothing and/or accessory hauls. I'd love to get to know what you ladies like to wear beyond what's on your gorgeous faces!
Thesupergirl's post about UD's Electric made me want it because of the lovely teal color, Fringe. Then I realized I already have a very similar shade in a LE Benefit palette that I never use (I think I'm the only one that bought The Rich is Back because it was in their sale section for months). I also bought two Bumble & Bumble Dryspun hairsprays in one week! Totally didn't know I had already ordered it because I was happy hulking out over their holiday GWPs.
