Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@Maria88Yup- to Ulta. 🙂 Mac wants to strengthen its brand. So excited. Not sure why, but Sephora chose not to carry Mac, though.

@ClassicallyFab i actually think that was a smart move for both companies. I feel like every time I see a Sephora, there's a Mac around the corner. This is not true of Ulta, it's a pretty separate world. I could see it being either Mac or Sephora who made that call, or maybe it never even came up lol. (All pure speculation of course!)

That's a good point, @Alicehoopz. Here in the 'burbs, there are strip mall Sephora stores, and quite a few malls that don't have Mac but have Sephora, so I didn't think of it like you. I swear I read somewhere that Sephora chose not to carry them, I just cannot find where I read it (I just tried a few Safari searches to no avail). I figure it could make sense for Sephora to carry some of the Mac products that Ulta won't ("MAC Cosmetics won’t take up a large portion of Ulta Beauty Inc’s physical retail locations. Instead, the products will be limited to 200 square feet in each store. This will only allow it to offer 600 different items, which only makes up about 45% of its merchandise."- investorplace), similar to how Sephora carries some Tarte products and Ulta carries others. You're so right, though. If many of the Sephora stores are near Mac stores, then it absolutely may not make sense. Excellent deduction.

MAC probably wanted to keep too much profit or not pay them the percentage they wanted, decisions are always related to the color green.

I looked back through my last few 20% q's, and yes, lancome is a usual exclusion (along with clinique, dermalogica, and Dyson). As for when we'll get one, folks here say we had one around this time last year, so hopefully we'll get one soon 🙂

Nah, just looks like someone accidentally swapped the order of the tabs, and the first one was blank. I moved them around again so the online links tab is first, but for future reference, along the bottom of the sheet you can see four tabs; select whichever one you want to see 🙂

I was hoping to try Exposed and Natural Beauty, but Natural Beauty was already sold out when I got up this morning, so I threw in Seduce. I was between that and Sensual. Now after looking up swatches, I am wondering if Seduce and Exposed are too similar....

@ohheyitscindyk I agree. I just was so thrown by the sellouts so early and i wanted to grab another before exposed sold out so I could get the GWP. I probably should have checked swatches before I ordered though since they are still not sold out.

@EskimoPie1 Wow they really went fast! Some drunk guy pulled the fire alarm in my apartment building at 1 a.m. EST, when the deals go live, so I was able to get a couple shades. Looks like as of right now, only Blushing Bride is still in stock (other than the Naughty Nudes).

Are you referring to the $30 GWP or is there something I missed? 🙂
