Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

I got the platinum bag for $82. The gifts with purchase count towards the buy in dollar value.  The ud and  Smashbox are $20 right there and that's open regardless of what you buy. If you do 30 bucks or more with chart you get another $10 gift. I think urban decay also has a $10 gift with a $30 purchase.  Living proof has a $25 buy-in gift, so that's another $10.   Hypothetically your $30 urban decay purchase, your $30 tarte purchase, and your $25 living proof purchase would get you over that  $125 buy-in.  With the 20% off coupon that would get you down to $68 for the bag.

The Tarte eyeshadow palette looks really nice. I was looking at it in store yesterday and it was quite tempting.

@alexasteph I picked up the Tarte palette a couple months ago and have been pleasantly surprised with it. I use a primer all the time, but fwiw, I think the shadows have good color payoff. The duo chromes I apply without an eyeshadow base, but the darker mattes, I like to layer on top of the lighter ones for better blending. I haven't used it during this 25 days of eyeshadow challenge bc I'm trying to use my less visited palettes and I'm really missing it.

At Christmas I travelled with this and one UD palette and was very happy. Probably could have travelled with it alone.

I've purchased tarte products before and I haven't loved them but I keep holding out hope I'll find something I like.  You can't go wrong with the highlighters, right?

I have to call the CS to get my code, and somehow the code they send to me states: valid through 12/24/2016??? But it's still working... I was wondering if it would be good until next Wednesday (beautybreak!)?

@Sodayui  My daughter doesn't get Platinum emails for some reason, so we had to call to have CS send her code, too.  Her code had the same 12/24/16 expiration date, but we were able to use it with no problem.  Hope yours works the same way! 😊

@Tamara76 Thanks! I guess they just applied the old template last year without correction! And somehow I placed 3 orders with this code and it's still working!!! I remembered you posted a couple pages ago that your code is only good for one-time use, maybe you could try your daughter's code (as we both got it through the CS), maybe it would work multiple times!

Actually I did receive emails from ulta, including this platinum bag (about 1 hour later than the first post here), but with NO promo code (instead my email comes with the benefit duffel bag).......I did ask them before to re-set my account as I've never receive any freebies. After they did that, I did receive some of the freebies.....Like last week I only received living proof & UD mascara. When I called them about this issue, they told me it's just a random selection as they don't have enough sample for every customer~ BUT luckily we have this thread with some lovely people!! YEAH! 😛
