The 15% off Spring sale is around the corner... can I get a drum roll...
THE ROUGE SALE IS APRIL 18TH - 24TH!!! I HAVE THIS CONFIRMED
What's on your list?
PRODUCTS THAT ARE MAYBES...
Is the date for this definitely Arpil 18th? I thought someone posted it was the 10th?
Cut my list again! Probably won't buy all of it, but this is what I'm down to. I have a couple shower sheets to try out before I make a decision on them.
I apologize for the second post, I'm still working on condensing my list but it's pretty much completely different.
The things I'm hoping most to get are:
The Sephora Pro Essential Brushes
Marc Jacobs Airblush Blush in Kinks & Kisses
Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer (the jumbo size)
ABH Dip Brow Pomade
an Armani foundation
TF Glitter Glue
ABH lipsticks... I'm leaning towards Lovely, Milkshake, Crush and Dolce.
Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam
Josie Maran Cleansing Oil
Glamglow matte moisturizer
Fresh Soy Face Cleanser
Nudestix Magnetic Matte Lip Color
MUFE Ultra HD Foundation
Tarte is on sale right now for 30% off so better to buy direct form Tarte.
I just placed an order with them... got all this for $88 (including tax and shipping plus 2 freebies!) and 4% cash back on Ebates
Probably won't be taking part. By the time I add 8 percent sales tax, it's not much off at all. Besides, there's not really anything I need or want.
Really good point about sales tax. We have a little over 9% sales tax in Tennessee.
i stick to restocking essentials like face wash and boring things. if i have the extra cash, i pick out something i would never pay full price for.
I'm really debating about the dyson blow dryer for this sale. Do you think it's worth it? Or should I go with the cheaper Dry Bar Buttercup?
Definitely worth it for me. I bought this dryer at full price and it was still worth every penny.
I have medium-long (mid-back) length, straight, thick and coarse hair. This dryer dries my hair fully in 10 minutes, and makes it super shiny.
If Sephora had gotten it in during the November sale, I would have definitely purchased it at 20% off!
My sister and I both got the Dyson hair dryer during the November sale, and a friend of mine received one for Christmas. All three of us love it!
I have long, curly hair and usually it takes me a minimum of 35 minutes to diffuse wet hair. With the Dyson dryer, it takes me about 10 minutes using the highest air speed and cool setting. It performs well and never leaves my hair looking frizzy, even on touch-up days when I dampen my hair and lightly diffuse. The shape is comfortable to hold and feels much more lightweight than my last Revlon hair dryer. Sometimes I still accidentally knock the diffuser off, but that’s my own user-error because I have it sitting on my scalp and try to move it without lifting. In four months, I’ve maybe done that 6 times. Personally, it isn’t something I would consider a con. I actually prefer the magnetic attachments because I’ve broken several of the snap-on kind.
My sister and my friend both love it for quick blowouts, saying it only takes them a few minutes. They both have long, straight hair. My sister loves the filter at the bottom, and how long the cord is.
I couldn’t compare it to the Dry Bar Buttercup for you, but I think it’s definitely worth the price.
Woohoo, glad to know I am not alone in already curating my list! Haha. I'm trying not to buy anything until the sale but it's tough. I might get a new hair straightener this year.
Hello fellow Canadian!
I'm not sure how you feel about the Beauty Boutique website but there's always that route if you want to save some $$ on hair tools. I have the t3 blowdryer (the pretty rose gold one) on my radar and nearly enough to take advantage of $200 off. I haven't tested this theory yet but I hear that if you use eBates it'll give you x% off of your total before adjusting it to take off the optimum points. They have the single pass iron on their site, it seems to have gotten some good reviews.
Yassssss nice list! Ah didn't realize the Milk eye pigments were up on the site. I need to add them to my list. Love GHD straighteners. I have 2 of their straighteners and 2 of their curlers. They are the best.
Welp, my list has changed (no surprise there). I'm trying to stick to just re-purchasing some of my pricier necessities...with an exception or two. 😛
Ooh... I don't want to go too crazy, but I'm thinking a highlighter or a blush, an eyeshadow palette, and a fragrance. I haven't made a new purchase in a while, and all the newness is driving me crazy! Suggestions for recent releases I should consider?
My current basket:
I need the too face palette so badly 😞
I wish the Too Faced palette would go into stores. I hate having to order online risking its safety. ugh 😕
@gxlxaxm I think in the hauls thread someone mentioned they regretted buying the palette because the pigmentation isn't there 😞
Do we think the tarte unicorn brushes will stay in stock until the starts of the sale? I'm getting nervous about when I should order them
Tough to say... it's bizarre because it says it's not in-store in a 100 mile radius for me (and I live in Los Angeles where there's A TON of sephora stores) BUT it doesn't say it's "online only" which makes me think it should be coming into stores... *hopefully*. I refuse to pay $39 for the set though. I hate paying retail costs (because I work in a pro makeup artist based store where we offer discounts to professionals). With 15% off it will be $33.15 which is a little better... making each brush cost $6.63 each. I'm gunna wait it out and see what happens.
