Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Welcome back to the deal sharing fun! Deals shared here may also be posted to my blog (same name as the thread) unless you write for BT only. If I share your deal, I will always thank you here. I will heart every deal I see (without an outside or cheat link) to acknowledge it.

 

Beautytalk (the forum) does not allow outside links. A heart with no comment means I already have the deal or am deciding not to list it. Please list the retailer (without the link or cheat link; dot com) if it is not mentioned in the picture. Mods come in more often when they see any type of link. Thanks for sharing (original deals and repeats are welcome)! Please also share any deal haul you want, especially mystery gifts.

 

Discussion is encouraged. A lot of questions come with certain deals or retailers. When I see questions I can answer, I will respond (unless the poster consistently ignores me or someone else already answered the complete question). I read all the main posts (so no need to tag me). If you're replying to a post that is not near the top of the thread and want me or a specific person to see it, please tag us.

I thought I edited this to leave a message here, but after reading some private messages, I realize it did not take. This time, I will make sure it does before I sign off. Instead of waiting until I can return to reading every message to return at all, I will just pop in on certain days. I hope everyone is doing well. For me, some days are better than others.

Testers probably don't have any sensors in them to be tracked like regular merchandise does.  So, it's easier to steal.

I only realized that because a couple of times a cashier has forgotten to inactivate the sensors in my purchase and the alarm has rung when I tried to leave Ulta.

@Tamara76 you're not alone, I'm hesitant with testers and make sure I know where I'm buying from..germs and hypersensitive skin don't go well.

S***.....just refreshed my account page on People's website and saw someone else's order 😳 MAJOR SECURITY BREACH. Keep an eye on your Bank/CC accounts!

 

(Deleted the page and it still comes up with someone else's info)

 

*** Well...that felt like the most unproductive of phone calls. She kept asking me about my orders when I kept telling her to notify the IT dept. about the major breach. Finally think I got through to her, but we'll see. Plan on deleting my shipping info and name once it truly leaves their warehouse ***

Better safe than sorry: I called my bank and had them cancel the cc I used and send me a new one. The entire call took maybe 5 minutes, and now I don't have to worry about someone going on a shopping spree with my money lol

That happened to me as well. Was checking out and noticed that the name and email information was already filled out. Looked at the top of the site, and sure enough I was logged into someone else's account. Kept trying to log out and it would not let me.

 

So I didn't finish my order as it seemed too unsafe to continue

I haven't yet received a shipment notification on mine. I'll be checking my banking account. Thanks for the heads up!

That is so scary - I hope no one sees my info!  I placed an order Monday with the FB50 code and another order yesterday with 2 codes and both have shipped.  I will likely delete my info as soon as I see progress on my tracking... 😞

This happened last night, too. Super freaky. I just got my second shipping confirmation, so both of my orders are on the way.

Lucky! I haven't received any shipping notification for either of my 2 orders.  I'm holding out hope though since it seems pretty much everyones order is shipping!

@sabrinas  I tried to cancel an order but couldn't because it shipped already!  I didn't get a shipping notice for it either.

I just got shipping confirmation for my last order placed around 4am PST but not for my earlier orders!!! Really hoping the earlier ones ship too as the last one was 2 little items for $5 and there were things I'd really like in the earlier ones! Fingers crossed...

@Sihara This is scary. For half my orders I checked out as guest and I finally got tired of inputting my shipping info so I saved my acct. I haven't saved my cc numbers though. This is terrible breach and kind of don't understand how this could happen. Hope nothing bad happens

Do you think this is an issue for people who didn't make an account and checked out as a guest? That's what I did, so I won't be able to log in and check anything...

I noticed there's no sign out button, at least none that I could easily find. Maybe that's why there's the security breach/glitch. Luckily I don't have any cards saved on it (I never save my card info for this exact reason), but I definitely plan to delete my account once I get my stuff. So not worth risking
