Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Welcome back to the deal sharing fun! Deals shared here may also be posted to my blog (same name as the thread) unless you write for BT only. If I share your deal, I will always thank you here. I will heart every deal I see (without an outside or cheat link) to acknowledge it.

Beautytalk (the forum) does not allow outside links. A heart with no comment means I already have the deal or am deciding not to list it. Please list the retailer (without the link or cheat link; dot com) if it is not mentioned in the picture. Mods come in more often when they see any type of link. Thanks for sharing (original deals and repeats are welcome)! Please also share any deal haul you want, especially mystery gifts.

Discussion is encouraged. A lot of questions come with certain deals or retailers. When I see questions I can answer, I will respond (unless the poster consistently ignores me or someone else already answered the complete question). I read all the main posts (so no need to tag me). If you're replying to a post that is not near the top of the thread and want me or a specific person to see it, please tag us.

If you're posting about something on sale at Sephora, please share it here:

I thought I edited this to leave a message here, but after reading some private messages, I realize it did not take. This time, I will make sure it does before I sign off. Instead of waiting until I can return to reading every message to return at all, I will just pop in on certain days. I hope everyone is doing well. For me, some days are better than others.

Bath and unwind! This has become one of my favorite sites to shop on, if you're a skincare junkie you might appreciate it too

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

My order so you can get an idea of the GWPs that combine. It's like shopping on Ulta with a beauty break except more skincare oriented!!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@Alicehoopz  Thanks for posting.  I didn't get this email for some reason.  I love those little kits.

I think I had to put around $85 USD in my cart to get the gwp.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Thank you! I've been wanting to try some of those exact Omorovizca products!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Interesting... the name of the company was not familiar but it is owned by a venture capitalist that has his own tv show where he pretty much buys desperate people's businesses and takes them over, buying the companies for pennies on the dollar.  I remembered the episode and since they've changed the company name.

Not here nor there but I won't be buying.  Has anyone tried the products since it has been rebranded?

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@sarahshter I've always had a weird vibe from this company. I bought one of their mystery boxes and was SUPER underwhelmed. seemed to me like a privately labeled company BUUUT that's my opinion because other people seem to love them?

I also found a video on youtube of someone discussing getting their mystery box and it not being worth the value on the site. when she called, they put her on hold, dropped the value on the site, and said "what are you talking about?"

no idea if that is true but that was my first and last mystery box from them.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

I have a Cheeba update! He was able to come home tonight, so amazing! He's wearing a cone of shame and it will take 6-12 months for him to fully recover, but there doesn't appear to be any neurological damage. He's on a bunch of pain meds but sleeping. And he's very happy to be home.

Thank you so much for everyone's prayers and well wishes. @NancieNano is doing ok too. Her finger has a nasty bite but isn't broken. And thanks a TON to everyone that chipped in to help. Nancie is so thankful for all of the love! Hope we will see her back soon.

Trying to tag everyone I can remember but please tag anyone I forgot. Thanks again, everyone! BT is so full of love, it never ceases to amaze me. @shimmerbait @veronika23 @ZombieMetroAnt @NarNarNars @wheeeee @tsavorite @PaletteAddict99

Yayy!!! That's such wonderful news!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

I'm so happy.  Animals are kind of angels on earth, in my opinion.  There isn't anything else on the planet that is ALWAYS happy to see me except my pooches.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Yay! That's great news! Thanks @pixiedust2 🙂

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@pixiedust2,

Best news!  That's a relief.  Nancie and Cheeba are on the mend!   Thanks for the update!  🙂

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

For those comfortable with credit card churning, Southwest Airlines is currently offering 60k miles on their Chase branded credit cards if you spend $2k within the first three months.  Depending where/when you travel, this could be 5-6 round trip flights!  Typically, the reward is only 40k-50k miles.

SW has two cards, and they each have an annual fee: Plus is $69 and Premier is $99.  I believe you can cancel the cards as soon as the miles deposit into your Southwest Rapid Rewards account.

If you sign up for both cards, you could get 120k miles for essentially $168, and this will qualify you for Companion Pass through the end of 2018.  Companion Pass allows you to name a companion and this person can fly free with you!  Book and pay for your flight (cash or points), then do the same for your companion.  You only have to pay the tax of $5.60.  You can change your companion up to four times per calendar year.

Keep in mind Chase follows the 5/24 rule: they will only approve you for five Chase credit cards within a 24 month period, and you also cannot have received the bonus for a particular card within the past 24 months.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Cult Beauty Summer Goody bag  VIP can order for 24 hours using  code SUMMER 17

Good bag Is worth 170 GBP but free when you spend 110 GBP

(Spend 110 GBP before U.S. taxes are  taken off, so you can actually spend a little less , my order was a little over 100 GBP after taxes)

check the the exchange rate but Charlotte Tilbury  and Nurse Jamie are definitely cheaper a Cult Beauty than in the U. S.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Thanks! I caved like a sinkhole on this one. LOL. I'm pretty excited not just for the bag, but the fact that I now have my bath and body needs fully met for the next couple of seasons. Self-tanner, a lively summer body wash, body lotion duo, and a moisturizer that promises to evoke the crisp freshness of the early days of fall. How can that not be a magical experience?

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

AHH! They no longer ship Davines to the US, their products were significantly cheaper when I did the Spring bag.
