Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Welcome back to the deal sharing fun! Deals shared here may also be posted to my blog (same name as the thread) unless you write for BT only. If I share your deal, I will always thank you here. I will heart every deal I see (without an outside or cheat link) to acknowledge it.

Beautytalk (the forum) does not allow outside links. A heart with no comment means I already have the deal or am deciding not to list it. Please list the retailer (without the link or cheat link; dot com) if it is not mentioned in the picture. Mods come in more often when they see any type of link. Thanks for sharing (original deals and repeats are welcome)! Please also share any deal haul you want, especially mystery gifts.

Discussion is encouraged. A lot of questions come with certain deals or retailers. When I see questions I can answer, I will respond (unless the poster consistently ignores me or someone else already answered the complete question). I read all the main posts (so no need to tag me). If you're replying to a post that is not near the top of the thread and want me or a specific person to see it, please tag us.

If you're posting about something on sale at Sephora, please share it here:

I thought I edited this to leave a message here, but after reading some private messages, I realize it did not take. This time, I will make sure it does before I sign off. Instead of waiting until I can return to reading every message to return at all, I will just pop in on certain days. I hope everyone is doing well. For me, some days are better than others.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

It has a condition of following them on instagram, just FYI

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

I filled out the form using my kids instagram tag without actually following them, so well see if I get it.  Ill reort back if it happens.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

EDIT:  It was my email service, not the email. 🙂

Did anyone else happen to get an email from Neiman Marcus that offers a sample of Giorgio Armani lipstick in shade 400 if you responded to the email with your name and address?

I usually don't fall for things, but I get emails from Neiman Marcus all the time with different beauty companies' names in the address bar.

I attempted to send it and I got an error message from my internet provider saying the original email was spam.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

I get them from Neiman Marcus often. Sometimes it is free, sometimes it requires a confirmation of a purchase of that particular brand. For example, I received an email from the Fresh rep saying if I spent $100 in Fresh, and forwarded my confirmation number/email, I would receive some Fresh freebies. I have received Lancome and Fresh freebies at other times from NM by replying to an email asking for my name and address. Totally legit!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

I have received these from Lancome and Tom Ford. They are somewhat targeted. When Zombie posted the Marc Jacobs one, some people were able to get one with the contact info she provided. I never got it though. It's legit and usually arrives with no response in 2-3 weeks from your return email.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Thanks, @notcreative.  I feel better about answering the message now.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@Ispend2much6 I've occasionally received email offers from brands at Neiman Marcus but the email address has the store name (i.e. marcjacobs@neimanmarcus ).  Also, the beauty advisor's contact info is listed on the body of the email.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@ZombieMetroAnt  Thank you.  It did have the @neimanmarcus which is why it surprised me that it was spammed.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@Ispend2much6  Yes the Neiman Marcus product specialists will send out emails for your name and address to send you samples. I haven't received a freebie offer for Armani. The Guerlain specialist used to send me emails all the time but I haven't received anything lately, a bunch of us posted our treats in the Guerlain thread, was it last year maybe? I somehow ended up on the Fresh specialist's list, she sends me samples all the time despite I've never bought Fresh anything from anywhere, she sent me a really nice sample set at Christmas.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@shimmerbait  I had no idea that is what happens!  I get a ton of these emails; I need to start reading them.  Thank you!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

I received my Tatcha lucky bag today and wanted to post the contents. The bag included generous deluxe sizes of Gold Camellia Beauty Oil, Polished Gentle Rice Enzyme Powder, Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum and Radiant Deep Brightening Serum. I read that the contents of the bags will be the same for all orders.

For anyone still interested, the code is 'LUCK17' and is free with purchases of $100. The email I received says offer valid until 1/18 at 11:59 PST.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@JoannaMarieC So is everything in this photo a GWP? If so you really lucked out!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

No - just the 4 items on top of the bag (and the 3 foil samples). The 2 items in the middle are what I ordered to receive the lucky bag. @Maria88 🙂

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

I just received my Tatcha order today, with my Lucky bag.  FYI  - the contents of the free lucky bag are NOT the same for all orders.  Mine only contained the Rice Enzyme powder and the Deep Brightening serum. Two fewer items than yours. The bag I received was also a bit smaller. Perhaps they are running low on stock?

Either way, it's still nice to receive free items from Tatcha, just be advised that you may not receive what is pictured above.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Sorry for posting incorrect information. Several days ago Tatcha posted on IG that all bags would have the same contents but now I can see that is not the case - perhaps they ran out of the original bags? I read some bags include the rice powder and a full-sized serum which is very, very generous - a $95 value assuming it was the Luminous serum! What size was your Deep Brightening serum? The full-sized (50 mL) retails for $185! I would have been thrilled to receive any of these lucky bags!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Thank you for posting!  I was curious about this!  @JoannaMarieC

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@JoannaMarieC Thanks for sharing the contents! I was hoping to find out what would be included.  Enjoy! 🙂
