I think you're going to love it.  I have had mine for over a year now (Mia) and I can't recommend it enough.

Hey Daisey!  I just got mine a few days ago and I love it!  I always had to force myself to wash my face before and now I love to. It really is awesome!

Re: Clarisonic

I was going to wait and request it for my birthday in September but I couldn't wait that long. I'll let you all know when I get it & how I like it....I'm expecting to love it :smileyhappy: It sounds like a lot to spend, which is why I waited so long to get it, but when you think about it, it's really only a couple facials & a couple skincare products. I'm spending on stuff like that now just to try to get my skin under control, so it will probably pay for itself very soon.

Re: Clarisonic

yes, it will pay for itself in so many ways, better absorbtions, you'll find that cleansers seem to work better, your skin will feel softer cause the moisterizers are working better at locking in moisture.  If you use any acne meds, they'll work better.  Just all around better skin care!  Well worth the investment.

That's what I'm telling myself :smileyhappy:

I have had mine for almost a year and SWEAR by it.  I would never wash my face without this.  It is well worth the investment - just make sure to wash your brush every other week and replace the bruch every 6 months.

Question for all of you Clarisonic users:  When you need to charge it, do you always wait till it's full charged before unplugging it?  I'm wondering if it prolongs the life span of the battery if I always wait for it to get to a full charge before using it rather than doing more half charges.  I know that they mention doing the full 24-hour charge for the initial charge, but what about after that?  So far, I've been trying to make sure that it always gets to a full charge (which seems to be close to 24-hours... or at least more than just overnight) because I'm afraid of shortening my battery life.

I always give it a full charge when I charge it. Like you said, it seems like those kinds of batteries always do better that way.

Re: Clarisonic

Update: I love it. I had a hard time waiting for the initial 24-hour charge before using! The first time I used it, I wasn't sure if it was doing anything; it didn't feel like I expected it to. But after a couple days....RESULTS. I'm very pleased. I was a little worried that it wasn't going to live up to the hype but it does. I do think I'll order the normal brush heads, rather than the sensitive that it came with.

Re: Clarisonic

I would also recommend getting the Normal Brush. I have combination, acne-prone skin, and noticed significantly better results after switching from the Sensitive. Definitely worth it!

Re: Clarisonic

Thanks! I'm going to order them in the next week or so, I think. I'll keep the sensitive brush on hand for when my sister comes over & I'll let her use it. She has almost perfect skin and doesn't need to do much to it, so maybe I'll use it up that way. I hate to just throw it out but I do think I need the normal brush.

I didn't have a break-out period like some people do, but I had a facial not long before I started using the Clarisonic, so I think everything came to the surface after that. Now it's just helping me maintain. For any of you on the fence about getting one, I definitely recommend! Although you might be like me- I was sold on it for quite some time but It was just a matter of coming up with the cash. I just stopped getting other (unnecessary) orders from Sephora for a couple months. I had stocked up on everything during the F&F sale in the fall so it wasn't too hard. If you figure I'd normally get a $50 order about once a month or so, it only takes a few months until it equals the Mia.

@daisy: I'm so glad that you love it! I seriously cannot believed how much it has changed my skin. Love, love, love. I couldn't resist -- I'm back to using it twice a day, and it seems to be working for me. While I didn't have a breakout period, maybe I did have a sensitive one (I stopped using it twice a day and went to once after I noticed little red bumps)? Not sure, but it seems fine now!

So I should really really get one huh? I still get occasional breakouts and have clogged pores on and around my nose that never go away. Does it do away with those? Plus I am obsessed with exfoliating. Does it kind of exfoliate?

The Clarisonic does kind of exfoliate, but I still do use an exfoliator seperately sometimes.  They also have a new brush head that came out recently - the "deep pore" brush head (which has a pretty teal colored stripe on it!).  The description of the deep pore brush says "Ideal for cleansing oily skin, large pores or hard to reach areas of the face, like the crevasses around the nose.  Gentle enough for daily use."  I haven't seen this brush head at sephora yet, but it's at the clarisonic website.

I ordered those new brush heads with the $25 coupon I got after registering my Mia. I was just getting ready to order some to use the coupon when they came out with the new ones! I'm excited to try them.

The coupon you get when registering is a great deal!  I used mine about a month ago, so I didn't get the new deep pore brush head, but I did get one of the limited edition pink ones.  :smileyhappy:

I knew about the coupon because of serendipity- she posted it somewhere after she got her Mia, and so I registered mine too. Thanks :smileyhappy: @katie, you really should too. It's $25 off $50 and shipping is free with a $50 order. Brush heads are $25 each, so if you order 2 you get free shipping and only end up spending $25. I was happy I could use mine to try the new brush heads. I'll let you know if I like them.
