Hi everyone, I neep help !!   I have very curly, frizzy, dry and thin hair. Yes, the worst combo ! lol I always blow dry my hair the same day I wash them cause I haven't found the right techniques or products that really work to tame my hair down while not making them even more curly.    I have tried many things... Mousse makes my hair even curlier, gel makes them crunchy, oil is good but not enough to control frizz.     I would love to find a products or learn some techniques that would not make my hair even more curly, something that can control frizz and bring back some life into them.   Thank you so much

Hey! I have naturally wavy/curly hair (pretty much in between, some pieces are curly, some wavy). I blow it out every time I wash it because I hate it so much naturally!!! It's frizzy and just looks bad. I was wondering if someone had any recommendations for products made for my hair type?

What do you reccomendthat I use on my very long blonde color treated hair it's in excellent condition so far. I really want to keep it this Way but I'm afraid that the hot curlers and flat iron might possibly be doing a little damage what do you recommend that I use. Thanks for any help you could give me appreciate it

Im looking for a product(s) that can be use before and after I straight my hair. I would like a product that fights the frizz, humid and does not look greasy

I have been using Wen for about three years and have always atuck by the brand. I use the cleansing conditioner in all the verities and the re-moist and his styling cream and volumizing spray. It's been so long since I used anythingv else that my hair has just gotten used to it and I was thinking about trying Living Proof. What do you all think? Is Wen worth the cost that we pay? I am spending aboutv159.00 a month for all his products. I know that there have been many questions about this product but not one like this that I could find. Thanks in advance , Dan

can anyone help me with any suggestions with a shampoo for hair thining i think it is either due to hormonal or my medication already had my thyroid checked and was fine.   I saw a couple of shampoo on sephora website but not sure which one to get so i thought i would ask any of you beauty experts if anyone has used anything that worked good for them if they have any problems with there hair.
Hair
Ive been meaning to ask, but does anyone here have a really sensitive scalp, and if so, what shampoo and conditioner do you use? Most shampoos irritate my scalp, causing discomfort. Any help is appreciated, and feel free to suggest high or low end products. Thank you!

Hello BTers. About two weeks ago I went in to have my hair colored/dyed deep black. First time dyeing it dark and I love it. I feel it makes my skin look flawless, kind of Snow White, heeee heee (hey let me dream).   I’ve notice that when I wash my hair lots of black dye comes out. Is this normal? I’m afraid I’ll lose the nice darkness black color and that the previous highlights I had in will start peeking out. Although the lady said they shouldn’t because she removed them “shrugs????” I have long, full, natural light/med brown hair that goes below my bra strap but not quiet to my waist, yet. I use lots of hair products to keep it healthy such as (Living Proof) hair mask and (Agave/Wella) hair oil and love my Wen cleansing conditioner/shampoo. I recently purchased the Alterna Caviar shampoo and conditioner, in the purple bottle, because that’s what the salon stylist recommended me to use. I must admit I don’t quite like it.   Is there anything else that I can use/do to keep the deep black color   in my hair and stop it from washing out?   Yes, I went thru the previous threads regarding hair dye and still not quiet an answer to my concerns. Thank you for your opinions, suggestions and advice.

So I just came back from Target and I was looking at the box hair dye and I've been interested in coloring my hair for quite some time now but I don't wanna go permanent. So as I was looking at the different brands in the aisle I noticed that I couldn't find any semi- permanent color, all I saw was "Permanent" written on the bottom of all the boxes. Maybe I missed the semi- permanent ones? But can any of you tell me any brands from the drug store that has semi- permanent hair color? Which brands do you like/ dislike? And maybe a few pictures to know what I'm looking for next time?  Thanks!!    P.S. Are you able to view Beauty Talk from the Sephora app on your phone? Or do you have to go through Safari?

Hello, I have extremely thick hair. Its not oily and its not super dry either. But everyday, even right after brushing, the back section tangles up extremely bad. I just have to barely move my head and my hair is tangled up. Is there any products I can try to prevent the tangling? I can't stand having my hair cut short and its super annoying. Thanks.

I used to lose 1-2 strands before I switched to Alterna. Now I'm losing 10-20. My hair looks and feels fabulous, so I definitely don't want to switch my shampoo & conditioner. I'm just wondering if I should be worried about going bald :/

My hair has been super prone to breaking and damage at the ends for years now. I'm talking scary split ends, not just the ends splitting in half. the hair will splinter in multiple places and look like a bare tree branch or fishbone if that makes sense. It's been an ugly situation and i'm so desperate to fix it.   Over the past year or so I've been trying to grow my hair out. My hair was shorter than shoulder length a couple years ago (though not as short as a bob) and I've always had layers when it's longer, past shoulder length. The super weird thing is the top layers in the back of my head are the main parts that have the serious damage. The hair in that particular area has never really gotten longer than when my hair was at it's shortest. The bottom layers of my hair seem to be fine and grow quite well (my bottom layer is almost up past my **bleep**). The pieces of hair that frame my face have grown too, though not as quickly as the bottom layer, but you can definitely tell that they are longer than the hair at the back of my head, though they started out at the same length due to my layers.   The frustrating thing is those top layers are SOOO damaged that they seem to have stopped "growing".  My hair breaks off into little pieces for the most part (1cm or less), but I'll be playing with my hair (which I do quite a lot) and occasionally a 2-3 inch pieces will break off. I think the main problem my hair does not get longer is the constant small breakage though.   I blow dry about once a week, use a straightener 2x a month max (sometimes I don't use a straightener at all in a month) so I'm not sure that heat is an issue. I've never dyed or bleached my hair and take fish oil every 1 or 2 days when I remember.   Anyone know why my hair damage is only in a specific area, not my whole head, and what I can do to make it better???

Does anyone know of a decent/good shampoo and conditioner brand that is reasonably priced?  I want to try this no lather shampoo and see if it will really help my normal, chemically treated, wavy hair.     I am not looking to spend a lot of money- but if I can find it in Ulta (to use coupons/points) or a drugstore, that is right where I want to be as far as price.     I do however, really want it to be completely sulfate/paraben/anything else that they also put in household cleaners free...I've read that some say they are SLS? free but they really, truly aren't.  They usually have something in them that isnt good, even if it isnt sulfates...   If Sephora has one that isn't too expensive that you absolutely love, I'm open to any suggestions.

I'm conflicted on which blowdryer set to get? Has anyone tried either one with good or bad experience/results? I have fine, straight hair and want something to help with volume, not necessarily shine.   http://www.sephora.com/t3-featherweight-2-living-p roof-full-volume-set-P390982?skuId=1666247     http://www.sephora.com/big-hair-don-t-care-holiday -kit-P389331?skuId=1638246     P.S. Has anyone successfully used a hot air brush for volume? I want to get one of those too but there are practically no reviews out there for me to gauge how well they work.

I'm looking for shampoo/ conditioner that will help my hair become healthy again.  I don't color my hair or use heat on it that often!  I wash my hair about 2-3 times a week and use batiste dry shampoo in between washes and when i wash my hair I put Moroccan oil on the ends. I find that my roots get oily but then the rest of my hair gets really dry and super knotty.  Any reccomendations on products or brands? (they can be from Sephora since I can use the 20%) I was looking into the Living Proof line but is there a better one?

Hello beautiful people!  I am looking to buy a new hairspray.  I am looking for a flexible hold hairspray that won't make my hair crunchy.  I am considering flex and money maker.  Thoughts on these?  Or any other suggestions for a great hairspray that won't make my hair hard?  I am looking for something that will help keep my curls, but not make my hair frizzy.  Doesn't have to be from sephora, i will take all suggestions!! thanks everyone!

I am looking to get a new curling wand, so please give me your favourites!    I have medium length hair that goes down to my collar bone, it's thin, straight and refuse to hold curls (I tried to perms).  I want to do messy waves for the most part just to get some more volume in my hair and I am looking at a max of $150 on this wand.    Thanks

Hi there, has anyone out there used organix shampoos and conditioners and or products? I noticed that they usually win some magazine awards and they are all natural, no sulfates and honestly really affrodable. I was thinking of trying them.... anyone had any luck? Also, their website isnt that great, so not sure which shampoo to use ... I have color-treated hair, fine and damaged hair (although I would love some volume).   Thanks!

The starter kit of Toppik appears to come in either gray or white fibers but can you purchase either of these colors without buying a kit?

After getting a demi-permanent glaze on my hair this week, I've been searching for a new shampoo and conditioner. I've got a long list, and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas?   My current hair: long, fine, and the ends are overprocessed. I dyed my hair bright red for many years.  I've added an amber glaze (darker than my natural shade), and want it to last as long as possible.   What I'm looking for: Sulfate free: This should be relatively obvious (but I just learned, for instance, that Aveda's color preserving line has sulfates) Salt free: This is a new one to me, but my stylist insisted that sodium chloride is deadly for color Color preserving: I want to protect my color, especially since it's been processed so many times Hydrating: Bumble and Bumble, for example, technically meets the above criteria, but my stands are straight-up parched after using it.   Does this product exist, or am I asking for too dang much? Thanks for the suggestions/insight! Spoiler (Highlight to read)

I keep catching sniffs of my hair after using the Drybar Texas Tea volumizing shampoo/conditioner this morning and I LOVE IT! I need a more moisturizing conditioner, though (I have thick, dry, wavy hair & live in humid southeast TX).   Anyone know of a 'heavier' (better?) conditioner that smells similar?

Help I have very fine hair that I have never really done much with. I recently started to blow try it with a thickrizer and curl it on the weekends. However I noticed breakage around the crown, I do use a drug store heat protector. I need advice on if purchasing a more expensive curling iron/ blow dryer is worth it to protect my hair or if it makes a difference. Or if it is the heat protector I need to invest in, or perhaps a hair mask. I am clueless on what my hair truly needs.

I have always had extremely fine hair, but it was always healthy as i never did anything with it. Recently I have been using volumizers, blow dryers and curling irons so that my hair can have some body. However i can now see breakage in my hair so i need to know what products are worth investing in for my hair. I was suggested a hair oil but the one i tried just made my hair greasy. Also i have been looking into maybe purchasing a ceramic wand as i have heard they are better for your hair. If anyone knows of a particular brand that high quality i would appreciate it. Looking for advice on hair oils, pre heating spray, conditioners or anything you many think will be helpful

Hello !   I have very fine, thin, dry and damaged hair. I have to clean it every day, if not, my hair gets oily (at the scalp). I have blonde highlights, thinking about going back to my natural color to give it a break. However, brown does nothing for my complexion, I highly prefer blonde.   In addition, I've lost a lot of hair following my pregnancy (my hair was AMAZING while pregnant, it was silky, it had more volume, it was smooth ... well it's not so amazing anymore).   My hair is a bit longer than shoulder lenght and with a 8-month old, I don't have time to style it, so I let it dry naturally which makes my hair look even more dry.   I never let my hair loose unless I have the time to use a flat iron, and even then after a few hours it gets tangly.   I need help !!! I do not want to cut it short, I like the current lenght I have. I'm looking for new products to try out : shampoo, conditionner, and some kind of protecting spary or oïl to use before using any (heating) tools.   Thanks !

I have some questions, trying to color my own hair and save money. I bought the color i know my stylist uses, Matrix 6warm and i bought the 30 vol developer. But i didn't take into consideration i had highlights done since then, my hair is naturally a dark brown. It has some new growth and my highlights are a light brown yellowish with hints of orange. Im trying to get my hair like either picture, i like them both. I also bought a Matrix 7ash color, i was going to mix the two but not sure if it will give me the color I want. I was also wanting to know if i should use vol30, would that dry my hair out?

So after trying to color my hair with a demi permanent that did not work    yesterday I picked up the Rita Hazan Root concealer at Sephora (I was there for the Wen shampoo, that I want to try, but that's another story).   The sales girl said wonders about the root concealer but, after trying it on a tiny section, I'm under the impression that it will completely ruin any shine I might still have left...   Do any of you use this? What are your feelings about it?
