So, Violet or Grey?

I've just recently cut my hair for random reasons, and I've added a little touch of grey to it, which I really liked, I want to do the whole thing a greyish tone, or maybe a light lavender grey tone. Yes, or no? 16999250_197183230765524_7241843739775318812_n.jpg

Re: So, Violet or Grey?

Hi, ShawneeDawn!

Since more wild and unconventional hair colors tend to be semi-permanent, applying a touch of lavender to the existing grey you currently have wouldn't be difficult and would eventually fade out to where you can decide to either touch up the color again if you like it and wish to keep with it or just leave it alone and stick with the grey.

Brands like Arctic Fox, Manic Panic, Special Effects, and Ion Color Brilliance all make various shades of purple and lavender worth checking out. Since pastels have become a big hair trend there is the capability to mix in conditioner or specialty diluters to tone down a purple shade to give it a more subdued tint to hair (check individual brands to see if they have a mixer).
