I have flyaway frizzy but mostly straight hair. How can I get it to hold a curl?
My hair has been described as "flyaway"--fine, semi-wavy, frizzy hair. I have no problem taking the frizz out when I straighten it; it goes straight very easily with a flat iron and stays straight until i wash it again or put a kink in it from my ponytail. But I'm bored of the straight hair look and I want to tame my natural waves, possibly even get some curls. I can't have my natural waves without frizz though, and when I use a curling iron (and any combination of the curling or hair spray products I have), it goes straight again after an hour or so. How do I do this? I don't want hard crunchy hair either...
Also, I have oily skin and really can't comfortably go more than a day without washing my hair.

I see that you can't go a day without washing your hair and I know exactly where you are coming from. My hair is super straight and used to be frizzy as well. I used to wash my hair every single day sometimes twice a day (I know it's bad). It took some time to get used to not washing my hair every single day, but I got used to it and my hair is a lot healthier and it's no frizzy.
You can use Dry Shampoo to keep it clean. Dry shampoo absorbs the oils and adds volume to your hair. Also for curling your hair, it makes it stay longer. Trust me with that one! My hair is so straight that every time I curled it, it would go back to straight within 20 minutes.
That's what I would suggest. If you don't want to not wash your hair, get the Aqua Net! Your hair should stay with that!
