I dyed my hair and now it has a gross residue I can't get rid of! HELP!

My senior year of high school I started using Herbal Essences "Hello Hydtration" shampoo and conditioner, and my hair felt greasy and horrible while I used it.  I switched and it stopped.  When I used it again, the problem started again, so I never used it again.

However, now, two years later, I used Perfect 10 hair color and I have this problem AGAIN.  Herbal Essences and Perfect 10 are both by Clairol, and no other brand gives me this issue.  It's 5 days after dyeing my hair and it's STILL as gross as ever (I've been SCRUBBING my hair in the shower and it's just not working).

What should I do?  I can't just switch products this time since it's the dye that has done it. Has anybody had this problem? Help me!

@Arofrac, I recommend trying Carol’s Daughter Rosemary Mint Purifying Shampoo and Conditioner. They are formulated with natural extracts to deeply cleanse, nourish and balance hair and scalp, and work great with color-treated hair. Good luck!

Olivia
