How do I get my bangs to have a "feathered back" look?

I've tried styling with a flat iron and it just falls flat for me. My bangs fall just below my nose. Any advice on product/tools/styling? I've thought about hot curlers, but I'm afraid they would fry my ends (I'm pretty prone to split ends) Please and thank you!!

Do mean the Charlie's Angel's hairstyle?  Well, WAY BACK THEN (for me), I remember using foam rollers in my hair back then because they would help keep the "flip I needed to obtain the look. I slept in them over night and in the morning just removed them and styled my hair.  The cut of the bangs will affect how they fall and hold the "feathered look".

Hi, kymky!  Seems to me way back in the ancient 1970s when I had feathered bangs, I just combed them back as I was drying my hair.  I suggest experimenting with a round brush and styling gel.
