Hey beauty lovers! I'm looking for a new perfume and I'm wanting something flirty, sensual, warm, and maybe a little sweet. Nothing too overpowering or floral. I'm about to finish a second bottle of Prada Candy. I love the scent of Candy, but the lasting power is below average. I've been interested in Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, but I haven't had the chance to sniff it just yet! Other perfumes I enjoy are: Dior J'adore Dior Addict Dolce & Gabbana The One Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy Ralph Lauren Big Pony for Women #2 Marc Jacobs Lola
I got a Michael Kors 'Very Hollywood' sample in a Sephora Favorites holiday pack a few years ago, bought the full size with the voucher, now its discontinued!! Anyone have a recommendation for a fragrance that is similar?
I posted in reference to my future Paris trip recently and received great feedback from quite a few people. I now wanted to ask about experiences with specific fragrance houses that I've narrowed down onto a short list. They are the following: Nose - http://nose.fr/en/ Le Labo - http://www.lelabofragrances.com/ Annick Goutal - http://www.annickgoutal.com/en/ What draws me to Nose is that they offer rare scents. In regards to Le Labo, they can make you a custom fragrance. (Who wouldn't want that?) As far as Annick Goutal, I love floral, feminine fragrances, but I do know that I can buy these at Nordstroms. However, it may be cool to check out their boutique. Due to the prices of these fragrances (and the fact that I already have 7 different fragrances in my possession), I can probably only buy one. Therefore, I thought narrowing down this further may help me accomplish that. Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated! P.S. I know everyone is probably wondering why Guerlain is not on this list, but, from what I've seen, their fragrances are cheaper in the US than France.
I am DETERMINED to own one of those beautiful TOCCA bottles of it's the last thing I do! Seriously though, I've tested all the Tocca fragrances about 50 times each and still can't decide. For the price, I want to make sure I will love what I'm getting. Which one do you recommend? Also, I'm aware that Sephora is offering a Tocca trio, which I may very well purchase. But I want your opinions first! *UPDATE* Thanks for the suggestions ladies! I finally got to Anrhopologie today to try out Stella, Florence, Bianca, Cleopatra, and Colette. I could definitely tell why Stella has such a following, but it was a bit light/fruity for what I'm looking for right now. I had a hard time choosing between Florence and Cleopatra...but I'm going with the Cleo. It had a very nostalgic, retro, smells-kinda-like-my-grandma-but-in-a-good-way feel to it that I adored. It's rare to find those old-fashioned scents, so I'm going with my gut and will purchase Cleopatra next pay day! (Florence may soon follow.)
I've been using Ban's "Shower Fresh" deodorant for a while now and I feel like it wears off after a couple hours and reacts weirdly with some of my perfumes, leaving a strange scent on my shirts. I'm looking for something new that is either unscented or has a light scent so that it doesn't clash with my perfumes and of course, BT was the first place I thought to ask my question. So I know it might be kind of weird to ask this, but which deodorant do you ladies use?
I absolutely love wearing perfumes but I have been using the same one for a really long time and I'm just getting bored of it. I've constantly been looking for a new sweet girly scent but I'm having a hard time choosing one. I don't want it to be too heavy but I also don't want to reek like straight up sugar. Any suggestions????
Can anyone recommend a perfume that is woodsy with perhaps notes of sandalwood and vetiver? I hate, hate, hate anything floral or fruity. Any women out there wearing mens cologne because they can't find a woman's perfume they like? Help!
Hi Everyone, When I went to my local Sephora to make a purchase I received a sample of Rockin Rio by Escada and I absolutely love it. I am new to Escada products and I saw this is a limited edition perfume. I was wondering if this is a scent they have every summer (similar to how Philosphy has Marshmallows For Toasting for Christmas) or is this a one time offer? Take care! -Rutile
My wife absolutely loves Taylor Swift's fragrance "Wonderstruck", and I was just wondering how it compares to more exclusive and more well known fragrance brands, in terms of lasting scent, subtleties, and pricing...
I'm looking for a replacement for the now-discontinued Miss Dior Cherie L'eau. I find the regular Miss Dior Cherie (now called Miss Dior Eau de Parfum, I think) and the Eau Fraiche versions to be overwhelming--I think the tuberose note is far too strong, and they both give me headaches. But these are the only two fragrances that I have seen suggested as replacements for Miss Dior Cherie L'eau. Any suggestions for a light but sophisticated floral that is similar to Miss Dior Cherie L'eau?
Does sephora store there perfume correctly ? Because i bought a bottle of coach poppy and when i opened it up in the car the bottles temapature was warm? I am worried that the top notes are ruined. Do the bins sephora stores perfumes in have lights inside them? Beucause I got mine from the shelf. And am wondering if i should have asked for one from the back?
So, I just went through my small bag of sample size perfumes. Let just say I found a new love interest in Versace. I have both the Bright Crystal and Vanitas. Now I can't decide which one I should get. Which one would you guys recommend? Their scents are pretty much on both end of the spectrum. For me Vanitas has a more warm scent to it; while Bright Crystal is fresh and bright.
Hi, I'm a high schooler looking for a perfume. I already know I like perfumes with a amber, vanilla, and musk scent. I've tried Vera Wang Princess and loved it. I also like Flowerbomb, I know its a 'older' perfume but i only spritz it once at an arms distance away so its not over powering and I enjoy that scent too it doesn't smell floral at all on me. I just want to know if there are any other options out there. I don't want anything too heavy, too floral, or too bubbly gummy sweet. Thanks a lot.
Normally a sweet & light perfume wearer, I've been searching for something spicy and musky for fall/winter for a couple of years now to no luck. A few suggestions for me to sniff next time I'm in Sephora would be welcomed, thanks! Not sure that it will help for identifying what I like in the spicy/musky category, but my sweet & light favorites are: D&G lmperatrice Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche (the green one) Prescriptives Calyx Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire
I am not a huge fan of overpowering perfumes or the typical perfume smell. Looking for something that's light enough but won't make me smell like a pre-teen (lol!) Any help is greatly appreciated! P.s the lower pricing, the better!!!
Okay so i am a fragrance junkie, and love my perfumes. I recently smelt coach poppy and fell in LOVE with this! If you have tried it, how long does this perfume normally last on you? Thanks so much! <3
Hi I noticed the new marchesa perfume coming out with VIB pre launch exclusive but not available in store til 9/6...has anybody tried this before? It is described as floral...is it powdery? light? oriental? any thoughts? The bottle looked absolutely beautiful!!!
