From what I've read on multiple internet sites, Kate Spade's Twirl may have used the following: orange blossom, tiare, watermelon, blackberry, French macaroon, star jasmine, musk, magnolia, and red current. Thank you!
I've been trying to get a fragrance engraved in store (yonge and eglinton), but am getting different answers when I call in (e.g. one SA said any size can be engraved as long as it's not a round bottle. the other said the fragrance is eligible depending on the brand and eligible size for each brand varies). Has anyone gotten a fragrance engraved at sephora before and if so, what was your experience? This is the fragrance I wanted engraved:
This is newest scent in blue bottle. I am super excited to get my hands on this fragrance... At this point, it is only available at neiman Marcus, but it is on back order with no date of arrival!! I have to buy this online due to no store within 200+ miles. Will Sephora be getting this? Or does anyone know where I can locate??? Thank you, denise
I've owned several Burberry fragrances for women over the years. While I'm aware that the ingredients of some perfumes can degrade over time, especially if left in the sunlight, I've never had any trouble with Burberry. (I keep several different scents in rotation, but I always use them up within about a year or year and a half.) But, even though the scent was only launched two years ago and my bottle can't be older than that, my Burberry Rhythm seems to have gone off. It doesn't smell bad, exactly, but it doesn't smell like it used to or like the samples in the store. Anyone know why? Have similar trouble?
I love Hermes' Kelly Caleche, but its a bit much for my budget. Are there any similar scents out there? Thank you! Hermes' description: A reminder of a visit to the Hermès leather vaults, Kelly Calèche is a light, feminine, joyous expression of leather. It gives a nod to two in-house emblems, and translates the perfumer’s tactile and olfactory emotions into an evocation of leather worn next to the skin, gently tanned by the touch and edged with fresh petals.
Anyone else notice that Marc Jacobs Mod Noir smells almost identical to the drugstore scent by Coty called Sand and Sable? I got a sample of the Mod Noir and used it this morning and it instantly took me back to my high school days when all I could afford was drugstore cologne. It just surprised me, I guess I expected a more sophisticated scent from the Marc Jacobs line.
SO I bought the MMM Discovery kit this morning. You basically get a rollerball for $10 when you buy a MMM perfume. No promo code. It's an ok deal. But Sephora won't let me use my 20% on top of it, making it a very crappy deal. It's a gift set, why can't I use it along with my 20% off? It would be a much better deal to just buy the bottle + the rollerball. I will be returning it, of course.
So, my signature scent has been discontinued. Oh boo. If any fragrance buffs know of anything that smells similar, let me know. OR~ If you have any unwanted bottles of KVD Saint floating around, let me know and I may want to buy it off of you.
I finally opened my 100 point Marc Jacobs Mod Noir (rip off for 100 points...but...whatever). To me it smells exactly like DVF Tatiana...which brings back memories. Kerosene Dirty Flower Factory smells like the lilac bushes my grandparents had...but lilac isn't in the scent notes at all. What scents bring back memories and what are they. A few scents I've dumped, even though I loved them, because the related memories weren't ones I wanted to hold on to.
I have been mulling over adding Black Orchid to my fragrance collection for a while. I had a sample years ago, and it was a sillage and longevity beast (which is something I love). One spray was enough. The scent worked well on me and was delightfully noir. I was going through a Coco phase at the time however, and I never picked it up. I am finally ready to pull the trigger on it, but in reading some reviews it looks like it may have been reformulated to have much less sillage and longevity. Can anyone comment on whether or not this is true?
Hi, Scent Lovers! My Mom loves No. 4711. What scents, if any, are similar to 4711? I'm not looking for a dupe, but I would like to stay in the same scent family. This is how the fragrance is described: The precious ingredients are carefully harmonised. Bergamot, lemon, and orange provide a uniquely revitalising effect. Lavender and rosemary have a calming and relaxing effect, strengthening the nerves. Neroli, extracted from the blossom of the bitter orange, has a calming effect in the base note, creating a positive mood.
Hi beauties, I am looking to purchase the Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet EDT and I actually don't use perfumes much but this one smells nice and i'm addicted to the bottle. I know the 100ml bottle has the silver bow on it, does the 50ml bottle have the silver bow as well? I've seen ones with clear bow (which doesn't look as nice) and in that case I would purchase the 100ml. I really want the silver bow on it and I would hate to open the 50ml and see that it has the clear bow and I'm stuck with the bottle.... Thanks for your help!
I was binge shopping perfumes last weekend and found this collection called ROADS. The shop owner mentioned the "nose" behind the scent is Danielle Ryan. It is interesting because she is part of the RyanAir family. I thought that was cool. I smelled a few and they were amazing! I especially love Neon and Cloud 9. I didn't commit to buying anything because I was already making a purchase, but I will be going back... Anyone else have comments on this line?
