Just wanted to pass on the fact that Macy's online (only) now has the following hard-milled bath soaps: Miss Dior and Coco by Chanel! They both smell great, and as someone who prefers the long-lasting nature of soaps, as opposed to body washes, which can "turn" and smell weird, I thought I'd pass this along. Too bad Sephora doesn't cary them. I've also gotten the Miss Dior from Nordstrom's online.
My mom is absolutely in love with Chanel's Coco mademoiselle fragrance. I really want to buy it for her but the smallest size is over $60 and that is simply not something I can afford right now. So I was wondering if anyone has come across a fragrance that smells very similar to it? She is not someone who chases the most expensive brands, she is happy with simplicity.
Hey all, im trying to find a good perfume for my girlfriend. I was confused between Lady million and Nirvana Black/white. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Umm im not sure what details to give you guys so u can better decide but she really is mysterious and sensual and pretty and lives in BC (incase weather matters) and shes 20 years old. Can anyone suggest a perfume within 100 dollars or choose among the ones mentioned pleaseeee?
I have way too many perfumes and I think the oldest is probably 6 years old. I still wear it from time to time but I wonder if perfume goes bad or expires. I keep them on a shelf in my closet away from direct sunlight and moisture. Have you ever had a perfume go bad on you? What's the oldest perfume you own?
I was at a SiJCP yesterday and I found this perfume. When I worked at Claire's we sold a Hello Kitty perfume that smelled just like this! I haven't been able to find anything like it in years and pretty much everything is out of stock. Ulta has it, but I would rather purchase it at Sephora. Does anyone know?
I bought both Elizabeth and James Nirvana rollerballs. I used them twice and they seem almost empty. There's no way to tell for sure due to the opaque packaging. Do you think I should try to return them?
So yesterday do to lack of coverage I got pulled to work cosmetics instead of pharmacy, well I had a customer looking for a fragrance that she saw on her coworkers desk. She described it as a tall clear maybe white bottle with the letters G W on it. We didn't have it but it has me curious to know what it is! Any ideas?
I am bored with my current perfumes! I currently wear forever red by bath and bodyworks and body by victoria from Victoria's secret. I like scents that are sweet like candy or floral. Does anyone have a recommendation for a new scent to try?
Do any of you have a strong reaction, either for or against, celebrity fragrances? I don't know what it is, and it doesn't matter if I love the celebrity or despise them, I just can't wrap my head around it. I'm sure I am missing out on some great smelling scents as a result of this, and I know it is narrow-minded, but with so many fragrances out there to try, the whole celebrity thing just puts those at the bottom of my list. Are there any that you think are a must try? Sidebar: I was at my local TJ Maxx and I noticed they had TONS of celebrity fragrances available. It got me wondering if other retailers are just having too much difficulty moving them off the shelves.
So recently I posted up a thread about perfume primer which was taken down because of a link. Anyway, there is this thing called a Perfume Primer that makes your perfume last longer. People asked me about where I heard of this and I would say its an article on Total Beauty. Before giving your opinion on this you should really read the article first because it have more information.
I'm one of those gals that are obsessed with fragrances and have about around 50 60 and still collecting...(if you want to call it that.) So I would like to know what are you wearing today? I'm wearing Obsession...(hahaha kinda fits this thread, doesn't it? )
I am not familiar with the CLEAN brand and I don't know if there are any lovers of the brand on Sephora. But I just wanted to give heads up that I went today and there was a 500 pt perk, it included 2 perfume one was in a pink bottle, the other in a blue and it had the matching lotions.
A couple of weeks back I bought COACH Poppy Freesia Blossom, and honestly this perfume is great but at the end of the day there's just no lasting smell. I've never experienced perfumes like that before. So I decided to go in another direction... I would really appreciate it someone can tell me which perfume out of these two options are the BEST! they're both MARC JACOBS : -DAISY OR -DAISY EAU SO FRESH? Much appreciated if you answer :-)
Do any of you wear perfumes that your partner/kids/coworkers do not like? I'm trying to be strong and to keep/wear the perfumes that I personally like, but find that I shy away from a favorite after a negative comment. For example, I've come to really like Dior Hypnotic Poison, but my partner does not like it Yes, I wear lighter skin scents such as Nest dahlia and vines, which is unoffensive fresh and floral, but I want my Poison too!!! What scent do you wear that you love but others do not like?
I have been wearing Flash for a couple of days, loving the fruity but NOT overly sweet scent, and even though it's not listed in the notes I swear I smell anise/licorice. Then it hit me why this seemingly unique scent felt so familiar, it is a dupe for Diesel Loverdose, at least to my nose. I am so happy that I have found a perfume that brings an old favorite back to life. Have any newly released fragrances resurrected a long lost perfume you thought you'd lost forever? Happy Valentine's Day to all the perfumophiles out there!
I was recently introduced to Diptyque. As much as I love the overall concept of the brand, my local counter is extremely, they only have testers for 3-4 perfume and no SA either. If any of you has tried the brand before, please do share your favourite scent with me, so I will have a better idea next time I go visit the counter! Thank you so much everyone!
http://www.sephora.com/perfume-fragrance-deals?med iaId=12800018&icid2=Fragrance_fragrance_deals_link Has anyone gotten the Givenchy tote or any of the other ones available for when you buy a fragrance? I want to get the Givenchy but i don't know how to quality is.
Last week I bought a perfume and I really wanted to love it, they didnt have the one I actually wanted but I bought from the same company by COACH. Sadly the one I bought, doesnt last too long and at the end of the day I dont smell it like I do with most of the perfumes I've bought. I know Sephora does returns/exchanges, but do they also exchange on perfumes too?? or just makeup/?
So, I purchased a 3 pack of rollerballs from my recent Sephora last week. It came with Woods, Rain, and Skin. Today, I rolled each of them on a different appendage, and asked my husband which one he liked the most. About 'Woods'.... "That one smells like a cologne. Like, I could wear that one. In fact, I will." What a smooth way to steal my stuff!!!!
Hi all. I ordered this Daisy gift set online and received it today. In the description, it says it includes a 1.7 oz. Eau de Parfum. That is incorrect . It includes a 1.7 oz. Eau de Toilette. I called Sephora and they said the content on the website is incorrect. There is no Eau de Parfum gift set, and the Eau de Parfum itself is more expensive than the gift set I ordered so if I exchange, I'll have to pay more. They are supposed to be updating the website, but I wanted to let you all know. I'm pretty bummed because I've been lusting after the Daisy perfume for a while.
