I love clean, fresh smells but they are usually too light and don't last that long. Any suggestions? I LOVE Cedar & Citrus (D&G LB) but it doesn't last longer than an hour on me and you can't really tell that i'm wearing perfume.
So my boyfriend and I have been together for almost three years now, dating, and have known each other for five or six. He turned 21 back in July so I feel like we're getting further and further into that 'adult' world. So for Christmas I wanted to mix things up and get him things I know he likes [Video games, some custom stuff, etc] but also some things that are a bit more mature [The mini Art of Shaving Kit, though I bought it because I really like the cute little brush] and would like to get him a cologne as he's never had one before. So I guess my question is, do you pick out a cologne that you like for your significant other or do you let them pick on their own? I want it to be a surprise so I don't want him to come to the store with me to pick, and I also sampled two yesterday that I loooove but I'm not sure he'd like because well, this is new for him [though he likes whatever I put on myself so I'd like to think I can pick things that he'd like for him to...]. So I'm torn between getting him one of the two that I liked or the Fragrance Sampler and letting him pick something from that [though it has neither of the two that I like and it makes me a little sad but I can deal]. I mean no matter what I do Sephora has a great return policy so we could always come back and exchange it out for something else, but I'd rather get it done in one swoop.
I LOVE, LOVE the smell of Victoria's Secret Clean and Fresh. The problem is, it's a body mist not a perfume. Their "perfume" is not a perfume but more a toilette spray and does not last more then an hour. Is there any perfume that is similar in scent?
Anyone buy beauty products from Overstock? They don't have merchants selling on their site like Amazon or Ebay right? My mom's getting me SpiceBomb as a stocking stuffer & I told her I'd hunt down a good deal for her. I saw it on Overstock for $50 it's usually between $70-$80 for the 1.7 oz. I kept browsing on Overstock & saw they have 2 pack Clarisonic brush heads for $18.49, originally priced at $43. So before I tell her to get it from Overstock, I want to make sure it's real. Not only for the ingredients, but my family does not support fakes/knock-offs! We don't support child labor, human/drug trafficking, terrorism... I would feel so bad if I made my mom purchase it & find out it's a fake. I know you can normally find good deals on QVC, but this seems a bit too good to be true. Not to mention the picture looks a bit sketch.
Hi Everyone!!!! I'm looking for a new perfume that sort of smells like flowers. I tried the Tocca Violette and loved it, but the scent lasted about a half hour before disappearing. Is there anything similar? I don't like super heavy scents b/c they can give me migraines. Perfumes I've tried and liked (but not necessarily floral): Juicy Couture (This is a bit strong, but okay when I am out in fresh air) Princess by Vera Wang Very Irresistible by Givenchy Ange ou Demon Le Secret by Givenchy J'adore by Dior Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana Amazing Grace by Philosophy (This was a bit weird, I would like it sometimes, and other times it would smell powdery) Any suggestions? -On a side note, how long do you have before perfume "expires"?
I can never get the hang of using those non-spray mini perfumes, they are hard to open and shoot projectiles at me and I'm paranoid about bacteria/germs/oil. Does anyone know if the bottled mini perfumes are the spray kind?
Is anyone else giving, receiving, asking or wishing for fragrance for holiday gifts? I received a bottle of Shalimar early but I've also been thinking of hitting the after-Christmas sales and picking up some of the nostalgic fragrances I've liked in my past, just to wear occasionally...
I have the newest Mens and Womens Sephora Favorites. What do you think would be good combos? I love making my own unique scents! http://www.sephora.com/fragrance-sampler-for-her-P 382350?skuId=1562115 http://www.sephora.com/fragrance-sampler-for-him-P 382351?skuId=1562156
Okay ladies and gents, Megan here and I need your help! so I hate strong alcohol smelling perfumes they all smell like one thing to me. I'm looking for more of a lighter spray or even a scented lotion something along those lines that smells like something you would want to eat. For example, vanilla icing scent, candy, anything good and sweet but still fits the season. Any delicious ideas?
We have all seen the travel refillable fragrances- the take the cap off and spray into the bottle .However, there are a lot of perfumes that I can't take a cap off. When I saw how Sephora gives out its fragrance samples, I was wondering if there is anything on the market similar to this.
I got a Michael Kors 'Very Hollywood' sample in a Sephora Favorites holiday pack a few years ago, bought the full size with the voucher, now its discontinued!! Anyone have a recommendation for a fragrance that is similar?
I personally like it...fresh & has some staying power. Others have been telling me I smell like "Sunflowers." Now I'm thinking that maybe it will smell different on me if I wear it in the summer...Anyone else wear this?? PS: Not a fan of the new one. A little too minty for me!
