I've owned several Burberry fragrances for women over the years. While I'm aware that the ingredients of some perfumes can degrade over time, especially if left in the sunlight, I've never had any trouble with Burberry. (I keep several different scents in rotation, but I always use them up within about a year or year and a half.) But, even though the scent was only launched two years ago and my bottle can't be older than that, my Burberry Rhythm seems to have gone off. It doesn't smell bad, exactly, but it doesn't smell like it used to or like the samples in the store. Anyone know why? Have similar trouble?
I purchased the Sephora Favorites Perfume Sampler and recently used the certificate for a full size bottle. Few days later I got the same perfume as a gift. I don't see the need to have two perfumes of the same scent and wish to return the one I got for myself. When I redeemed for the full size bottle, I was given a receipt saying I paid zero dollar for it. Would I be able to return the bottle for my money back?
Hello everyone! I am in college and seeking a fragrance for the winter-spring transition. It would be lovely if you could suggest a scent that has good longevity (over 5 hours), sillage that is not too overbearing, and is not too common or overused among college students. Thank you!
Hi Ladies - Need some help with assisting a male friend who is shopping for fragrance RIGHT NOW lol. He lives in another state and I'm at work, or I would be helping him in person. He got a Tom Ford Tobacco Oud for Xmas and likes it, but is not sure it's just right for him. He couldn't put his finger on why. We talked about what we both do and don't like in fragrance, and so far got this: subtle herbal, possibly woodsy No sharp or soap smells, if possible probably not floral spices welcome tobacco, leather, probably welcome but not sure He is the outdoorsy, sensitive, poetic/wordy, angsty-writer type. He is attracted to female-identified folks primarily, so would love the input of some female people on what they like and recommend. He is about 22-24ish, and an old soul for his age. Tried to post this in Men's Fragrance but it wouldn't let me? sorry! Thanks!!!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble picking between Serge Lutens and Diptyque. I got a whiff of a friend's Diptyque Tom Dao EDP and really liked it. I don't think I own anything like it but Barney's only has the EDT and I'm not sure how it compares to the EDP. I've also wanted to try Serge Lutens for a while and didn't know where to start. Advice would be greatly appreciated Perfumes I currently use: Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Nil & Toit, Acqua Di Parma Arancia di Capri, and Chance Eau Tendre. I'm looking for something that isn't too sweet or too strong. And preferably nothing that's similar to what I already own. Perhaps something more sophisticated and flirty?
My husband told me that years ago he had a Cartier fragrance (cologne, I'm assuming) that he loved. I would like to get this for him as a surprise but am not sure which scent it would have been. Any idea if one of the current formulations is the same as those of the '80s/'90s?
What is a similar fragrance to the Dior Blooming Bouquet? I love the scent but for the price I think its to expensive due to the fact it doesn't last long. Does the Chloe perfume smell similar? I know they both share the notes of pink peony. Miss Dior notes are Sicilian Orange Essence, Pink Peony, Damascus Rose, White Musks.
HELP Please. Bare Minerals is fantastic, but I love Bare Skin perfume even more -- which has been discontinued for ages now. I found some Santa Barbara perfume on line at Amazon.com and use that daily. I am begging you to bring back your line of perfumes. I believe they can be as successful as your line of bare minerals. If you do not want to manufacture it anymore would you consider selling the rights or licensing to someone else who could produce this perfume... It’s the best perfume I have ever used. Like clean fresh soap, not overpowering, more like fresh air. It draws people to you. PLEASE RECONSIDER PRODUCING YOUR PERFUME... only you can do it!
My fragrance has been discontinued but, I saw it coming so I have 10+ bottles. I am very sensitive to most so when I find one that works I don't stray. Any advice on ways to keep it "fresh"? At this point I have it stored in a cabinet that receives no sunlight but it is in a very large bathroom. Any and all advice is appreciated, Thanks!
I was cleaning up my makeup area and picked up a big perfume bottle, dropped it, and it managed to land on one of my favorite perfumes Diptyque Eau Rose. At least it is a rollerball, but it shattered and i'm so sad. It's like a $50 rollerball!!! ahhh
Hi, I was looking to purchase some new scents but there are so many to choose from on Sephora. Can anyone help? So far, I'm in love with and wear constantly: See by Chloe Michael Kors Weekend by Burberry Saint Angeles by Kat Von D Fracas by Robert Piguet I also really liked the tester I got for Clean Shower Fresh Any suggestions?
What is a good perfume for homecoming? I like sweet and girly scents. I'm thinking about getting either aquolina pink sugar or vera Wang princess. Let me know which one you like or any other suggestions that you have. Thanks
