PUR Minerals (available at Ulta) makes a great creamy green primer that will help nuetralize the red and hydrate since it's creamy, try using that under your foundation so you don't have to rely solely on your foundation to cover up the red, no one wants to cake on a bunch of foundation to hide redness especially in the hot summer!

I have mild rosacea and dry skin with patches, 37 yrs old and I use MUFE HD. Just don't put powder over it and it works great. Another great foundation is the Temptu Airbrush foundation but Sephora doesn't sell it anymore so you'd have to go to their website.
