over 60 make-up

(0) Hearts

I have been using bare minerals for my foundation and when I look at myself in pictures, it just looks terrible.  What is the best foundation for ladies over 60?

I'm not (quite!) yet 60, but just discovered Make Up Forever (MUFE) powders and HD Foundation.  I get photographed a lot for work, and it gives a great, smooth, poreless finish and lasts all day.  Also, the eye pencils are waterproof, lovely colors, and never wear off.....I liked the Urban Decay, but can't get a color match....

Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation works best for my "mature" skin. It has pretry good coverage, but what I like best is it does not dry out my skin and it doesn't make it too oily either. It has a dewy finish.  get a sample and try it out.

You might want to try some serum foundation, such as YSL liberator youth serum foundation, Armani maestro or Armani designer lift.

That's a good idea!

That's not good. What was terrible about it? Shiny, too matte, spotty? Are you using primer? what about the mineral veil? I personally think bare minerals is sheer coverage for photographs. I like Clinique stay matte, or Smasbox Halo foundation. Lots of folks like Nars products, I have an allergy. It depends on what the look is you're going For. Always use a primer. Always use a finishing powder.
