foundation question

(0) Hearts

Hi!

I was colour matched with MUFE HD 118 in store. At home I tried applying it on with a primer and set with loose powder afterwards and it looked perfect, very natural on me.

However, during the course of the day, the colour turns pinkish and I was like wearing a mask on my face. Is it something wrong with the foundation colour or how I applied it? Should I change to a colour with more yellow undertones?

I used the MUFE primer and Laura Mercier loose powder. Thanks

Re: foundation question

I have the same thing happen To me. It means once the foundation is on your skin, it oxidizes and changes color. Your best bet would be to go to sephora get color matched and then walk around the mall for  awhile and  see if it is still a good match. I ended up needing a different color and now is fine. Good luck  also just get samples of different foundation to try too

Never knew about this oxidizing thing.
I have since tried several shades and compare. Sometimes they change colors but sometimes not. I guess it depends how oily I am that day?
I am keeping 3 shades now. Still hesitant whether to return one of them.
