I currently use all BE products. I use the original veil, BUT noticed the Illuminating veil. I did a quick swatch, and though it looked glittery, when swipped on my hand, it didn't. I already have the Becca Moonstone, which I just purchased about 2 months ago and for $38 isn't exactly cheap. But I am still drawn to this illuminating veil. I know the illuminating veil is all over, and my becca I just highlight with. So my question is, has anyone tried these 2 and which do you prefer.
I got 2Y07 but that was before the YSL Fusion Ink foundation came out so what shade would I be? It's not under my results for matches I am light-medium honey in the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour foundation Number 5 for the UD Naked Foundation & shade Punjab for the NARS sheer glow foundation Your help would be greatly appreciated! Even if you are a few shades lighter/darker it would help narrow my results
I know Sephora doesn't carry this brand, but has anyone used the Mally Beauty Face Defender? If yes, what were the results? I'm interested in buying it...to use over either a BB cream or a powder foundtion. I need to know if it works for both coverage types.
Please help! So, I have the tarte 12 hour foundation in medium tan and I am in love with it. I used to hate it because I bought the duel ended foundation brush (flat top and pointed) to apply it and it looked streaky.. but I now use the real techniques pointed foundation brush and I like how it looks like now. HOWEVER, everytime I wear this foundation I can see the bits of glitter or shimmer on my face. I tried blending it away and its still there...And its really noticeable when I'm in the sun! It's really embarrassing and my sister asked me why I wore glitter on my face. I want to know if any of you have had this problem or had and know how to sort of deal with it. I really love the coverage, consistency, and the overall look of it and want to use it up! I'm not sure if its the brush I'm using or whatever.. I do use a primer and I put a powder or it (either my benefit or rimmel stay matte or BM mineral veil) and it still looks shimmery.
they have three different rose petal colors and they look like real rose petals the blush in itself is sheer but this is more of a collectors item of someone who really loves blush / makeup.Would be a cute gift to someone.
MAC's studio fix fluid in NW10 is so far the only foundation I've found that matches me. Although I like the foundation I don't want to be glued to it with no other options if I ever want/need to change things up. Does anyone know any good dupes? Preferably shades a tinsy bit lighter as NW10 is a touch too dark, not enough to bug me, but something I did notice (but I'm probably the only one picky enough about my appearance to notice). I'm interested in all finishes and coverage amounts, as part of my goal in asking is finding different foundations for different occasions.
If anyone has tried the new colors from mat velvet plus please let me know how the colors are. I have been wanting to wear this foundation, but could never find a good shade. Im interested In shades 51 and 53. I think those are some of the new shades lol
I am looking for an under eye concealer as well as a lighter highlighter and wanted to see what Touche Eclat shade I might be? For foundation my colour is Bare Minerals Bareskin #12 (Bare Sand) and Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick #4.5 (Warm Natural). Currently using for under the eyes Bobbi Brown corrector in Peach, Bobbi Brown concealer in Honey, and Bare Minerals Stroke of Light in Luminous 3.
Hello BT, I was in the store looking at both of these items today and I couldn't tell from the display what the difference was between the two? I match pretty well to shade 2 in the no foundation foundation, which looks like the same color as the serum... but what are the differences? I know many of you received these as gifts and may have tried these out, but can any of you tell me what each one does differently, pros/cons of each, which you recommend more, coverage, staying power, etc? Thanks so much for any input on this!
So I am always on the hunt for that "Miracle in a Bottle" I went into Sephora to try a new foundation that I have not worn yet. (Which I have worn a lot) I am 42 with acne/oily skin. I find a powder foundation works best, but love the way liquid looks instead. I was matched to #33 in the 8hr mattifying compact in the Sephora line. It looked good when she applied my makeup. Just wondering why there is not much talk about this one. I have the MUFE Duo and I would compare it to that. (or when wearing it I won't?) I have yet to wear it, just curious if anyone that has used this likes or dislikes it. Also wear MUFE HD (stinks for oily skin, and yes I cleanse with my Clarisonic, use the Ole henriksen line and always use a primer, currently the oily free one from Smashbox) also use MUFE Duo compact. Never tried the mat velvet, don't know why. Aveda, and BM (matte formula) Also SA applied with brush, I have been using my BM Kabuki brush, shall I apply differently??
Hi There - I'm currently using the estee lauder double wear foundation in Ecru 1n2, however I realize now its too light for my skin tone. I did the color IQ in sephora back in January and was matched to 1Y07, and i found that the estee lauder match to that code was Fresco 2C3. Just by looking at the Fresco shade i know it might be too pink for my skin tone. I am definitely neutral even though I find the veins in my wrists quite blue. My face has some pink undertone but id like to match my foundation to my neck and it is definitely more neutral and not pink. Looking for suggestions on what shades you might think would work for me? I understand the "7" is a medium shade. I was looking at the desert beige 2n1, or the dawn beige 2w1 or the rattan 2w2. thank you!!
Hey everyone. Im new here and I would love to invest in the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer before I go on vacation. I will be ordering online and I have NO idea what shade to get. I also would like to get some information on the product from people who use it. Do you think it is worth the price tag? For my skin background; I have VERRRY oily skin with a few like dryish liney places like especially around my nose forehead and chin. Makeup tends to settle in those little lines and looks cakey. So I want to know if this will make me cakey. I also have acne prone skin and sensitive skin. Is this a good product for it? Will it make me break out? Also, will it cover dark spots? I want to be able to have a shade that works well under my eyes as well as on other areas of my face. I will list some shades I am in other brands of makeup (I have never been color matched in MAC) Also in most brands specifically drugstore Im in a shade that has the word IVORY in it: Estee Lauder Double Wear: 2N1 Desert Beige 12 Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Liquid Foundation: Ivory Kat von D Lock Tattoo Foundation: Light 44 Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer: 02 Light Medium Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Powder Foundation: Fair-Light Neutral Clinique Stay Matte Sheer Pressed Powder Oil-Free: 02 stay neutral (MF) Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Powder Foundation: 1C1 Cool Bone FYI: I do have a nasty brake out right now and Im hoping this will cover up redness as I have naturally very uneven skin and hyper pigmentation especially around the nose. I have also been looking into the colors and thinking possibly vanilla might be an option?? Thanks so much for your time and if you fellow beauty experts have any information on any of my questions please get back to me as soon as possible as I hope to have this for my trip (going to a beach, hoping to have waterproof makeup) Xoxo
I am interested in trying a bronzer. My favorite brands are Nars and Makeup Forever.. My foundation color is Golden in Bobbi Brown Skin and Caramel in Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer. What bronzer would you recommend based on this information?
So, I had an email this morning that the kit was available, and I decided to check up on it again right now and it's out of stock! I was sad but I called my Sephora and thankfully they have it and will have it on hold for me unil tomorrow at 1. Hopefully I don't get the same experience that I had when I put some tarte set on hold a year ago! I can't wait!!!!!
I just bought the Ambient palette, but I haven't received it yet. From what I understand it gives you a bit of a glow. I am wanting to buy the PTR CC cream, but from the samples I got the CC cream was extremely pearly. I liked how this looked, but I was thinking combining the two might be excessive. They are both higher end products for me, so I would want to use them often. Has anyone mixed these two products before? What did it look like?
Hello, Last Christmas in one of your gift boxes was a sample size Laura Mercier Mineral Illuminating Powder, the colour is Candlelight. I've searched for it and can not find the colour anywhere on your website.I just love the glow it gives, is it still available? And if not what would be an identical product. Kind regards. Sabrina.
Has anyone tried the Chanel CC Cream? I'm thinking of getting it but am worried about the color. It only comes in one color which is B20 but I'm a B10 in Chanel foundations. Would the color still work for me or would it be too dark? Also since I read that its medium coverage, I would use this as my main base makeup and maybe with a translucent powder on top,
I used bare minerals for many years and loved it. But now that I am nearing 50 it seems to be/look drying. I've been using LM silk cream foundation and LM Tinted moisturizer. I've just been hearing great things about IT foundation especially after reading the anti-aging ingredients! Anyone used it? Advice? Celebration Foundation Illumination : Formulated with Hydrolyzed Collagen, Peptides, Anti-Oxidants and Drops of Light™ Technology for the ultimate, soft, candlelit glow complexion. This full coverage foundation is infused with key ingredients such as Niacin, Hyaluronic Acid, Rose, Silk and Aloe that help to leave skin fresh and hydrated, never dry or cakey!
Its hard to believe that 90~95% of this brush's reviews are 5 star "amazing, wow, etc" I went to SDM to look for Dior's flat foundation brush and the lady looked at me as if I'm crazy in preferring the flat version of foundation brushes.. but I have dry skin and its very easy for buffing brushes to accentuate the flakiness and dryness more but anyway, has anyone tried this brush and liked it? how do you use it? do you like it better than buffing or flat foundation brushes?
