Hey everyone! I've been looking for the perfect powder foundation that fits to my skin. I live in Germany and the consultation in the cosmetic stores are the worst. We don't have a Sephora here plus the selection of products/brands aren't that big and it's very difficult to find the brands I'm usually used to. I've been using the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation in the colour Tan Honey . And the Benefit Hello Flawless Powder Foundation in Beige but I would like to replace the Benefit product and find something similar from the brands Tarte or Too Faced. Hope you can help me somehow. Thanks in advance V p.s: I have oily skin Thanks! V
Hey guys, I've been searching online for a while now trying to figure out which shade of the MUFE foundation would be the best match for me, and all the answers I could find have been wildly different. Unfortunately going into a Sephora to get samples is not an option for me at the moment I'm a MAC NC30-35/C3 and I match best to Too Faced Born This Way Natural Beige; to those of you who are about the same skintone, which shade do you think works best on you? Thanks in advance!
I purchased the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer and I have been using it now for about a week. I have tried applying it with a stippling brush and a more compacted brush and with a beauty blender. After setting with translucent powder it starts to look cakey through out the day. I have oily skin. I was using Two Faced Born This Way and LOVE it but I wanted to try this one. I really want to like this foundation. Any one have any suggestions?
I'm really interested in this long wearing foundation because I work long hours as a nurse and wear a mask in the operating room so that adds a challenge to wearing foundation 😀 I am a NW 20 and in Nars sheer glow which I'm wearing now I'm Santa Fe. But, I think it's a little dark, or its oxidizing in me. I am cool toned skin , but i also like wearing neutral toned foundation to toned down the redness on my cheeks. The concerns i have about the foundation is 1.1 looks very light but 2.1 looks too dark. The one in between looks too warm. Many help would be appreciated. Laura
I am interested in this foundation but not sure about the colors online. I ama MAC NW 20. Right now I'm using Nars sheer glow Santa Fe but it's either a little too dark or its oxidizing on me. I was color matched at a Sephora store for that one. I'm cool toned with redness and hyperpigmention that I need to cover on my cheeks. The 1.1 looks a little light. The 2.1 looks too dark. (Darker than sante fe) and the one in the middle I think is too warm for me. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks Laura
Hi there I just purchased the Sephora Bright Futures Color Corrector in yellow to help with redness in my cheeks and chin. I need help with the order of operations. Moisturizer + primer + corrector + foundation?
I have combination skin that gets oily in the t-zone but when ever I have a blemish it gets super dry and creates flaky patches and I also get very dry on the outside of my face, around my nose and under my eyes. I also have large pores on my nose that I usually try to cover up and make sure make up doesn't get in there but it always does. I work in a office and rarely go outside but everyday my makeup comes off on my phone or smudges if I barely press on an itch. I finally found a make up that matches my skin tone (I'm a red-head with pale freckly skin) in the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Foundation (110=R220) and I love the coverage and the finish once I set it but even after setting it still rubs off during the day very easily. My make up looks good when I leave for work in the morning but when I get home that night it's patchy and has melted. I've tried a lot of different make up primers and none of them really seemed to extend the wear of my make up. I've tried -MUFE Step 1 Primer in Green (didn't really help color correct or keep my make up on longer) -MUFE Step 1 Primer in Smoothing (helped cover my pores on my nose and create a barrier but didn't extend the life of my make up)- -Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer (made my face an oil slick) -Too Faced Hangover Primer (I LOVED how this made my face feel but it didn't help extend my makeup) -Benefit Porefessional (again helped with the pores but make up still melted off) I've even tried the Urban Decay Oil Slick makeup spray which made my face really tight and uncomfortable and the Urban Decay All Nighter which I don't think made much of a difference. I use the RCMA no color powder to set my make up (which I really like because it doesn't make any dry patches look worse and it's not as thick feeling as MUFE HD Powder and doesn't have sparkles like the Laura Mercier). If anyone could give me some advice to help all the work I put into making my makeup look good last until I get home I would really appreciate it.
I have been looking in on reviews on the Kat Von D foundation and I really want to try it but im afraid it is going to make me break out easily. Which foundation if not this one would be full coverage but not make me break out easily cause i have very acne prone skin
I am wanting to get a different foundation because mine is a little too light for my skin in some lightings, but I'm having trouble trying to find my color online. I know that when you're in store you can swatch some on your neck to see, but what about online?
I have been wearing my color IQ matched liquid foundation for months with no problems, and suddenly in the last 3 days a few hours after getting to work I notice my face is orange. Not oompa loompa orange, but the foundation has an orange tint to it. It doesn't look like this when I put it on. I don't have anything new in my routine, so I applied my foundation with a brush instead of the beauty blender, and was still orange. Today I applied with my fingers, and left off my blush just to make sure that wasn't what was turning me orange. I'm still orange. I have pretty dry skin. Could it be that my foundation is old? Help?! What do I do?
Hello, In the youtube video when concealing hyperpigmented patches, you have just used corrector and foundation. You people did not use concealor. My question is that one does not need to use concealers for covering hyperpigmented patches? Here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcqPP6CDKCY Humair
I used Lancome and loved it but after a couple years i noticed my face was always flakey and it settled in my lines. I moisturize, use a primer, the works. I think my skin gets really weird in the changes of the season. I bought Lorac, and it really is hydrating but i'm not IN LOVE with it. I love the color but it doesn't stay on very long and my forehead tend to get oily looking throughout the day. I am looking for a foundation with great coverage for dry/combination skin. I am very fair and my skin tends to be acne-prone. but i think its due mostly to it being dry/irritated. Preferably middle of the road price...something less than $40. also if you have any general skincare product faves let me know too Thanks!
Hi guys! I was wondering if someone could help me out with finding a nice foundation or just recommend one. I am bellow the age of 18 and have normal/combo skin which leans more to dry skin than oily. I am searching for a foundation or BB cream with medium coverage or light to medium just not full coverage basically. Any foundation recommendations would be nice but BB cream also because summer's coming and I prefer BB creams over foundation throughout the summer. I hope someone can help me out, anyway thanks!
I currently use Too Faced Born This Way in Vanilla foundation but want a more matte look. I want to purchase the Too Faced Coca Powder Foundation but I'm not sure which color would be the equivalent of the Vanilla? Anyone know? Thanks!
is there ANYTHING better than MUFE foundation? I've been using it forever and sometimes you just want to switch things up...but if there's nothing better I guess why bother? My main concerns are large pores and some redness Thanks!
I've always had a problem with the foundation on my nose. Not only does it usually end up very patchy, but its very flaky and sometimes sinks into my nose. But, my worst problem is this odd line that appears on my nose when i have foundation on it. I don't know if its from pores or what, but my foundation and powder always sinks into an odd line. If anyone knows what that line is or a solution to me problem, please let me know!! thank you.
I use Clinique Even Better Foundation in Alabaster and would like to color match that foundation to Marc Jacob's "Remarcable" Foundation. Would you please tell me the color that I would use. Thank you!!!!
Hi everyone, I am still searching for my true holy grail foundation!! I have tried many foundations and was wondering if any of you had any recommendations for what I should try next! I have used Smashbox Studio Skin for the longest time, and I do like the formula but I am looking for something better. I have fair-light skin and am oily-combination. Let me know what you think I should try!! Thanks xo
Hi there, I need advice on what make-up my mom should get. She is going through menopause so she doesn't need anything that cakes up or that is noticeably looks like she is wearing make-up. She has oily skin as well and she has more of a olive/ light caramel skin tone.
Hello everyone! So I've been debating between these two foundations for the longest and I need to purchase one bottle before I head onto my trip to India.. My skin is mainly oily and I do have dark spots left from acne so coverage is a huge deal for me (which both of the foundations fulfill) I like that a little goes a long way with them as well. i really adore the coverage I get with Nars which is just a tiny bit better than Becca's but Nars sometimes leaves my skin looking extremely shiny. I really favor Becca's matte look. It is SO hard for me to decide. I am going to be in some really hot weather and I would need something that will last the day without having it smear or get very oily. I'd like to know you guy's opinion on which foundation works best and your experiences as well! Thank you so much.
Hey Babes. I get really dry patchy skin. I am looking for a medium/full coverage foundation that wont cake to my dry spots. My preference is for liquid or cream foundation. And I really like natural finish, but that is negotiable.... Right now I am using the Urban Decay Naked Skin, which is my favorite foundation so far, but is not quite perfect. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
