Hi there! I just had my trial with my MUA for my wedding. He used airbrushed my foundation and I'm not in love with the coverage. I think I'm used to a thicker texture for full coverage. Can I have him use a thin layer of my normal long-wearing foundation (pür liquid) underneath a layer of the airbrush? Will this give me a more full coverage look with an airbrush finish?
I recently tried Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer and loved the radiance, but found the coverage a little too light. Is there a liquid foundation (or BB/CC cream) that gives the radiance and lightweight feel of LM's tinted moisturizer, but with a little more coverage? (For reference, I use Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation in Light, and used LM's tinted moisturizer in Cameo)
I loved this makeup when I tried it in the store, and I like how it looks when I put it on. But after a matter of minutes, it looks terrible! It doesn't stay on very well, so the initial coverage (which is great) fades or somehow makes me look like I am 10 years older and sickly. It emphasizes every patch of dry or flaky skin. I switched from Lancome's Teint Idole to this foundation - and was definitely encouraged to do so by the significant price difference between the two - and the reason I switched from Lancome is because they stopped making it in my skin color. I tried getting someone at Sephora to do a color-match or color ID test thingy for me, but the result was essentially inconclusive--like I was in between colors or something I don't know. I don't know what to do or try. I pick at my face terribly, so I tend to avoid powders bcs they only make any texture on my face look worse. I also tend to avoid oil-based makeup because they tend to clog my pores, giving me the sort of blemishes I then pick at relentlessly. Any suggestions in terms of make-up foundations/concealers = much appreciated! by the way, I have been using Clinique's Even Better foundation in "Linen" - I am naturally pale (and a red-head) but I go tanning every now and then to avoid looking like a corpse (yes, tanning is bad, but I definitely don't get enough sunlight, and I go once or twice every 2-3 months) anyway, I tend to find that makeup is either way too dark, or like, white. Helppp!
Hi! I'm looking for a new foundation and these are the two I've narrowed it down to that I am interested in trying. Thoughts? I've already tried MUFE Mat Velvet Plus, Givenchy Photo Perfexion, and Maybelline Matte and Poreless. I'm looking for something with a natural satin/matte finish and medium coverage. Thanks!
Hi, I am a 1r05 for Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, Ecru 1N2. I was wondering what color I would be for the Marc Jacobs Beauty Full Cover Foundation. I was also wondering what color I would be for the Marc Jacobs Foundation if I am Light 48 1r06 for the KVD Lock it Foundation. Thank you!
I've used the Cover FX pressed powder foundation (N30) for a long time and I really like it. I used it with MUFE HD invisible cover concealer which is no longer available so I need to find a new concealer. I bought the cover FX full cover concealer (N Light). I have break-out prone skin and after one day of using this product, I noticed new blemishes on my face in the areas I applied it, which is never a problem I've had with my cover fx powder foundation before. How different are the formulas between the cover fx foundation and their concealer? Is there something else I should be using?
I'm currently torn between these two foundations! Which one should I pick? I have light-medium skin w/ warm undertones, acne prone skin, and no desire for a cakey look. I'm a teenage girl so my skin doesn't really have any other flaws or issues except the acne. Any suggestions? Thank you!
This highlighter comes in 2 shades; lightbeam and stardust - am not sure which shade would go best with my skin. I have fair skin with a pink undertone. Am also wanting one that is not too heavy - more natural between the two shades.
They literally give so many options, I don't even know where to begin haha. I've currently been using Chanel Perfection Lumiere in 22 Beige Ros é mixed with Skinceuticals' tinted spf and it seems to be pretty good, although I'm not sure if a pink undertone (I'm guessing that it is based on the name) is best because I want to combat redness. I've used anywhere from the Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere in ultra light (feels too light now) to Mac's Prolong Wear in NC20 in the summer when I was more tanned. Not sure if that's relevant, but there it is. SO! Anyway. What the hell shade do I get??
I love this bronzer but my skin hates it. I love the finish but as soon as i wash my face i got blackheads and an allergic reaction to it i even get headache. I tried it without any make up just bronZer and it was it. Do you guys know any dupe for that bronzer? i used the darker shade that is called radiant. I love Mac i would like to find one similar from MAC
i used to use clinique superfit foundation in shell but it was discontinued. can you recommend a compareable foundation both in coverage and shade? I have light skin with a lot of red and a bit of yellow undertones. I'm really frustrated I've tried at least 20 different shades and brands in the last few years and nothing looks even half decent.

First let me start by saying hi and I am an avid Sephora shopper!! This is my first time writing. I am writing because I saw advertised in O magazine in the January issue (page 51) the Giorgio Armani maestro glow. It says it's not available until February 2016. Do you know anything about it? The colors it will come in and also can you clarify what it is? Is it a bronzer, foundation, etc.. It's hard to tell on the model in the picture. It looks beautiful on her,lol Thanks Kelli
I have very oily skin, and I have no idea what to buy to keep it at bay. I also have places on my face that are very dry. I'm not sure how to control both while still having my makeup look perfect. Please help!! (:
Hi Everyone - please let me know which shade# to go with for this Becca Powder foundation - the Perfect Skin Mineral Powder. I have a skin reading of 3Y06 but I also have some red/pink on the cheeks, not an allover yellow undertone. Thanks, G
I was in Sephora today and was colour matched with shade 4.5 in the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation line. I went home to order it online, however, I found that the Sephora (Canada) website doesn't offer that shade. But I could of bought it in store. Online it offers 4, 4.25, and 4.75 but not 4.5. Does anyone know why this is?
Hi! I've been using spray tans (FakeBake, great product) by leaving it overnight for 1-2 nights in a row to achieve a dark glow. However, it has the following issues: 1) sometimes it doesn't look very natural (orange-y), 2) leaves disgusting stains all over (bed, clothes) even days after applying it, 3) not practical (ie, if you're going out on a friday night, you have to start planning your routine on thursday - or even wednesday evening for a darker tan). I'm particularly concerned about the first issue. I was wondering whether, based on your experience, a nice dark-ish (nothing extravagant, of course) and natual-looking tan may be better achieved by using products other than spray tan...mousse? lotion? Any specific brand? Thank you!!
Hey guys, So i recently bought into the hype of getting TOO FACED Cocoa contour palette with my $15 off coupon along with Sephora Brand Tinted Cheek Color for 10$. The color doesn't look so great on me since I'm a bit darker. The contour palette is nice but i feel like i can get the chocolate soleil bronzer and a light foundation for highlighting. And, I could buy Benefit's blush kit since I am in serious need of blushes! However, the kit already has hula in it. So is it necessary to buy the too faced bronzer? What do you guys think about the Benefit Holiday Kit? I'm also a big fan of no parabens in my makeup.
