I was an avid user of the original formula but sadly hate the new one. I am still looking for something with the same consistency and coverage. My skin is dry and most things don't seem to be good for me. I use the LM hydrating primer with a serum and good moisturizer. I've tried Nars creamy compact and the Hourglass hylauronic tint foundation, but my face still feels a little dry with it on. If anyone has recommendations i would really appreciate it. As i said, i have dry skin. To give you some type of reference to the paleness i am, i used to wear Rose Ivory for LM foundation. And i'm 23 if that makes a difference. (also, trying not to break the bank, looking for something similar in price range as well)
Dear Sir/ Madam, Would you be able to recommend an equivalent shade of foundation as the 'sephora 10 hr wear perfection foundation in the shade 22 light natural (P)' from the mac cosmetics collection please? Thanking you in advance, treens
I've been trying to find a substitution for Lancome Ageless Minerale with Whit eSapphire complex in Natural Beige 10. Any one have any recommendations or luck in finding another brand that is really similar to it?
My cheeks are normal to dry, t-zone is somewhat oily. Broken capillaries on cheeks. When autumn/winter approaches my cheeks will be more dry, t-zone slightly less oily. My skin tone is light to medium. Neutral to warm. I do have yellow undertone but it's not super prominent. I find foundations that have a yellow undertone (as long as it's not extremely yellow) suit me better than neutral to cool. I find foundations for oily skin are too matte for me. Dewy foundations are too rich for t-zone. I do apply a dusting or powder to my t-zone year round. Right now I'm using Jane Iredale pressed foundation. During the summer I don't mind powder because of the humidity. The JR foundation is okay, not too thrilled with it. Are there foundations for combination skin? I'm wondering if I use a foundation primer that is made for oily skin on my t-zone if that would help? Brands that have foundations for yellow undertones? Foundations I tried and didn't like: Lancome Teint Miracle and MUFE HD Any suggestions? Thanks!
After the formula was changed for MUFE HD foundation I can no longer wear it. It irritates my skin. My skin is super sensative and dry. I am looking for a fragrance free, no SPF foundation with more of a dewy than a matte finish. Any suggestions?
I'm currently using bareminerals liquid foundation which suit my skin tone the most. But i do have a problem. When i walk under the sunlight my makeup looks yellowish but it become normal when I enter back indoor with white lightning. any solution for this? or I'm choosing the wrong shade
Went into Sephora today to try Too Faced Born this Way. The SA matched me on my hand (weird and stupid me was in a hurry so i let her) and she matched me to warm beige. Now by the color description on the web I do fall into the catagory of medium skin (cuz I have a tan) and yellow undertone. The shade Sand was not available. So I left with that one. i do feel like its slightly to beige. I am more golden but not any darker than that shade. Any suggestions on which shade may be better. I'm sure I can work with the foundation. But some days I just like to throw a little of foundation on to even me out and go and prefer not to make it work.
So I have light/medium Asian skin with yellow undertones, but literally every single foundation I've ever tried would look okay in Sephora lighting, but then I would go home at look at myself in natural lighting and I would have a pink face and a yellow neck. I've tried just about every single shade in the Too Faced Born This Way line and I wanted to love it so much but my face would just look bright pink. So I gave up and tried out the MUFE Ultra HD; same thing. I have the shade Y315, and when I put it on my neck it seems to match completely and perfectly, then somehow just turns pink on my face.. I even tried using a green primer to neutralize the red, but to no avail. Does anyone else have this problem/tips on how to deal with this? (
I really want to try this new foundation stick by MUFE but can't decide which color is best for me. I need something with a yellow undertone for my olive skin. In Elcie Cosmetics I am Sand and MAC NC 35.
Hello! So I've had my Vitiligo for 8 months now (it was caused by stress) and I had both my eyebrows for the first 5 months than one day I looked in the mirror and it was as if I had shaved or bleached part of my eyebrow. My eyelashes are slowly turning white (that doesn't bother me, I think it's cool) which just happened 2 weeks ago. I recently went to New York without my glasses and everyone kept looking at me, even heard people whispering about me. I'm used to people staring at me because I walk with a limp but the fact that it's cause of my Vitiligo is something I'm not used to. I can cover up my Vitiligo the only problem is my eyebrow. My friend who is a makeup artist has taught me everything but how to do my eyebrows. I recently moved to Oregon so now I can't have her physically teach and guide me through it.
Hi I am struggling a bit with finding a Contouring kit that matches my skin tone, which is 1YO6. I want to purchase the COVER FX Contour Kit but I'm at a loss for which color pallet matches best with 1yo6. Any answers?
Hi eveyone. Could anyone tell me with regards to the D&G Foundations, if the shade Classic (the lightest) is the same in each foundation or not? The foundations from d&g that im trying to compare in shade classic are: *Perfect Luminous Liquid Foundation *The Foundation Perfect Matte Liquid Foundation * Perfect Finish Creamy Foundation Ive heard that Classic runs a bit darker in the "The Foundation Perfect Matte Liquid Foundation" than in the "luminous liquid foundation". If anyone can help, thanks
Does anyone can tell me which shade of the Clinique Acne Solutions BB Cream matches a NC30 skin?! I'm afraid that the Light shade can be for pink skin and I'm neutral/yellow... Some picture of the shade would be extremely welcome!!! Thanks!!!!
I recently had a SA put the Kat Von D Everlasting lipstick on me and loved the color and the matte look, but after leaving the store my lips began to get dry and cracked. It also would not stay on in the inner part of my upper and lower lips. I loved the color though it really brought out my green eyes (weird how lipstick brought out my eyes). Anyway, the color was Exorcism, and I was wondering if the new berry Bite line had a similar color with a matte finish that would dray out my lips or wear off on the inner part of the lips. Or is there any other suggestions for another brand with a very similar color, because again I loved the color.
I currently use Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H foundation in the shade 250 Bisque W. I am trying to find a shade from the Makeup For Ever HD Foundation that is similar to 250 Bisque W. I was color matched at Sephora and the color is just way too dark pink for me. Any suggestions on what shade in Makeup For Ever would match or be close to 250 Bisque? Thank you!
How do you all blend your foundation into your lighter neck? Mine is MAC Pro Longwear in NW 20 and it's hard to cover the neck with because of its longwear consistency. I tried the shade lighter and looked like a ghost. But I don't love the foundation line- so 8th grade! I have a bronzer I brush onto my neck, but isn't pigmented enough to do the trick. What are your tricks, HG bronzers, etc for this prob?
I am considering shelling out the dough for this foundation. I tried it in the store and got a nice color match and the light coverage I was looking for. However, I would love to hear what anyone has to say about it - pro or con - because as we all know, foundation is tricky and I would be very reluctant to use, then return, something so expensive.
I'm a NC30 in MAC studio fix fluid and I was wondering which one should I pick from the Ultra HD - MUFE - and the airflash - Dior. As a BB cream, I'd like to know which one matches in Clinique BB acne blemish. If you have other sugestions, I'd be pleased! tks!!!
I was told that the perfect contouring shade for my skin would be Bobbi Brown's eyeshadow in wheat... which of course Sephora doesn't sell. Anyone have very fair skin with pink undertones who can suggest comparables?
