I bought these and they just came in today so I will be reviewing them as I wear each shade. Today I wore Highly Waisted and I did put a bunch on because you all know how I love that glow! I don't find it to be the most pigmented highlighter or anything. It's fine but not amazing. It applies nicely but I can't say to the blendability because I was going for a bam sort of look. I wasn't intending to blend it into the skin. I only wore it to dinner so I can't speak to the longevity but I will be wearing a different shade to work tomorrow so then I can tell you how it lasts. Here is a picture of me wearing Highly Waisted:
Hey everybody I'm looking for a new foundation and concealer. My skin is oily acne prone skin. I live in texas so I need something that is going to last in this hot weather. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you in advance :-)
HI! let me tell you about my skin. I am naturally very pale, and have semi sensitive skin. I can't really label it as oily or dry. If I wake up and don't wash my face, It over compensates, and creates lots of oil, but if i wash my face and don't put moisturizer, it becomes very very dry and tight. So I suppose my first question is "What kind of skin do I have?". Second, Its really hard for me to find a foundation that has a nice balance of coverage but isn't too light. For example, I enjoy letting my natural freckles show through, but I need some coverage to balance my skin tone and cover light blemishes. Overall, I'm looking for a product that is neither too light or too heavy. I really appreciate you help and suggestions
Hello, so my color iq is 3Y03 which is my current shade of 120 for Makeup Forever powder. But, I would like to try the Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Foundation Powder and am a bit confused on which shade to get. Thanks for the help!
A decent portion of my cheek is naturally rosy 24/7. I just wanted to know if there was a particular way of contouring that would look better than others? Or is it that I just can't contour because of my complexion?
I love MAKE UP FOR EVER Face and Body Liquid as a light coverage foundation in the summer, but I am so pale that I can only wear it later in the summer when my face is tanned. Does anyone have a suggestion for a similar type of foundation that comes in paler colours for the next few months? My skin is normal-to-dry, but sensitive to anything comedogenic (which in my case, includes BB creams, CC creams, and tinted moisturizers -- anything that wants to soak into my skin is not my friend). I wear 115 Ivory in their HD Invisible Cover Foundation, and my winter Color IQ is 1R03. Thanks in advance!
From the swatches, this palette looks so pretty! However; I am concerned with the pigmentation of the blush. I looks orange-y and I have fair skin with pink undertones. With the colour difuse different on the skin? Is it still worth a buy if the blush is a flop (in your opinions, obvs)? Thanks!
I'm using Makeup Forever Matte primer with their foundation, but I've noticed when I go to put the foundation on it tends to feel like the brush sticks and has difficultly applying. I'm using the Urban Decay foundation brush. I've never had this issue before with Smashbox so I'm not sure what to do. Thanks!
Help! I use a matte primer from Becca, which works great with my makeup for the first half of the day. When I try to retouch my makeup later in the day or even touch my face it get splotchy and comes off so easily. If I apply more product it looks cakey and doesnt blend at all as it would during my initial application. What am I doing wrong here or how can I fix this problem?
Sephora no longer carries my go-to concealer, Korres Quercetin & Oak Antiageing & Antiwrinkle Concealer ITEM 1324573 COLOR 01 Fair - fairest skin with neutral undertones. What do you recommend instead?
I know its expensive but i really need help finding the right shade, theirs no store near me that has it for me to try on. I'm a NC15 in the MAC foundation. I've worn MAC for years and really wanna try something different.
I'm attending my husbands ball in June and I need help with a foundation. the ball is in the middle of the summer in the desert. It'll need to last like 6-7 hours and look good in photos. I'm currently shade 0 in Bobbi Brown and W-1-2 in loreal. I can also wear I'm pure for sure in benefit. I have the issue of all those foundations becoming an oily mess after 2-3 hours. I have quite a few discoloraed marks from breakouts too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys! I haven't posted in a while. I'm looking for a cream blush with good staying power-in a rosy pinkish shade that's natural and definitely not peachy. Right now I'm using YSL Creme de Blush in 02 Powdery Rose, but it will expire soon, and I think they discontinued the product. Any ideas for a good replacement? Thanks!
ok so I always used bare minerals powder but I'm getting older and dryer. I've been using bb or cc creams, or tinted moisturizer but I need something with more coverage to cover age spots/melasma. But also need something in neutral or cool tones as I have no yellow or gold in my skin. Any ideas? Oh, I recently tried bare minerals serum and was not happy due to gold tone and it settled in lines and actually accentuated them.
Help! I have tried pretty much all foundations recommended for oily skin and they still slide off of my face. I would prefer a more natural, matte look anyway, rather than the heavy coverage some of those foundations provide. Does anyone have really oily, acne prone skin and manage to get a natural, matte look, maybe with a bb cream or something?
The JC Penney in my town finally got a Sephora! YAY! While I was in there I decided to find out if they could shade match a foundation for me and they did with their color IQ match camera! My skin tone is 1RO5 and the lady suggested Tarte Fair Beige since I am fair with pink undertones. She also tried Celebrated blush from Tarte. My question is, based on my skin tone, what other blush colors from tarte, urban decay or too faced would work for me? Thanks!
Hi, I got Complexion Rescue in Natural 05, and right now it's perfect for my skin shade...It just blends into my skin and I feel like I am wearing nothing. I don't know if that's because the shades aren't not too heavy or because it actually matches the color of my skin. However, in a month or so, I will start to have a tan and i will definitely look much darker than now (I tan pretty easily), will i need to get a drake shade like tan 07, or is it way too dark than natural 05? if yes, what shade do you recommend? Or do you think that Natural 05 will do just fine even when i am tanned?
I want a good, lasting foundation with full coverage. I'm going to purchase one of these foundations for my graduation in mid May. I live in Arizona, so I want a foundation that won't sweat off. So far I'm stuck between these two foundations. Please help, thank youuu.... -Also, some parts of my face are oily and some are dry and I have some to little acne-
So I recently got a sample of this foundation and I expected great things, but I feel like its starts to look cakey. One layer wasn't giving me all the coverage I like so I applied a thin second layer (using my beauty blender) but soon it looked heavy and not good at all. I used it with the Cover FX mattifying primer and set with the Urban Decay De-Slick powder and setting spray. Do any of you have any recommendation on how to apply the foundation a different way or anything I could do different? I've heard such great things about this foundation I really want it to work for me!
Have anyone tried Surratt loose powder in eclatant? If none, maybe I should be bold and try it out myself. I'm currently debating whether I should get Hourglass ambient powder in compact or Surratt loose powder as my new finish powder!
I am looking for T -zone oil control product whatever it may be . My foundation start looking cakey after an hour and face is oil stick. I dont want to change my foundation as I bought recently and dont want to waste it (GA luminious silk) For Skincare,I use Korres milk protein cleanser/fresh cleanser/clinique balm Belif aqua bomb Kate somerville exfoliate Clay masks
So, I've decided I'm going to explore the world of bronzers this summer. However, I'm running into problems finding one that works with my skin tone and has the properties that I prefer. Below is what I'm looking for -- any recommendations, whether drugstore or lux would be helpful! Suitable for an NC44/45 skin tone Not for contouring -- I'm looking for something that I can use to just add a nice, sun-kissed glow to my cheeks, forehead, etc. Some shimmer but finely milled -- I tried one of the CoverGirl Queen Collection bronzers recently, which I know get rave reviews. However, the shimmer in it looks like chunky glitter on me, which is not the look I'm going for. When I think finely milled, something as smooth as the Hourglass ambient lighting powders. (I did think about their new bronzers, but their darkest one looks too light for my skin tone.)
