HELP ME!
i'm on the hunt for a new prep and foundation regimen; I have combination skin and tend to be very oily in my t-zone. I would like someething that would last all day but can be used as an everyday cause I am still in high school(I'm 17). ANYTHING FROM PRIMER, FOUNDATION, BLUSH, BRONZER, COUNTOUR, HIGHLIGHT, CONCEALER WILL HELP. Keep in mind that I do have tan-olive skin. I am "wheat" in Estee Lauder and "Stromboli" in Nars All Day Weightless Foundation.

Two Faced Contour vs. smashbox??
Should I buy the Two Faced Contour Kit or the Smashbox Contour Kit? I'm a fair complexion and had the mini contour makeover done at Sephora with Smashbox and loved it, but they also recommended the Two Faced palette since they were out of stock of the smashbox in store... now I'm torn. Which one should I go with? I'm a fair/medium complexion.

COLOR IQ MATCH 1Y07 VS. 1R07 Difference?
Hello! So when Color IQ was first available a couple of years ago, I went and got matched and was told I was matched to 1Y07. I had it redone 1-2 months ago and was now matched to 1R07. What makes both different from one another if there actually is a difference? Thank you in advance for any clarification! Oh, and what does the letter stand for as well as the sequence of the numbers?

Foundation: UD Naked Skin v. NARS Sheer Glow
Hi all, I'm hoping for some of your pro's and con's for both foundations. I've purchased NARS Sheer Glow before and really loved it - it was pretty close to a perfect formula for me! I haven't owned Urban Decay's Naked Skin foundation but have used on multiple occasions and am interested in trying it out.  Is there a large gap in quality or wear? Which do you prefer and why?   They are pretty close in price (Naked retails for $39 and Sheer Glow for $45) but at times that slight difference can seem like a lot to a college student.    Thanks!

hi guys! so i have combo skin, it's mostly dry/oily in the t zone. i use an oil cleanser and a great moisturizer but i was wondering what kind of primers and foundations i should lean toward? i don't like matte foundations on my skin they tend to look way too cake. i lean towards liquid foundations/dewy ones! thanks for all the help!!

I purchased this and LOVE the color. It's perfect for me. However, like others, I'm not sure I love the formula, I can't seem to pick up enough on my brush. Do you have any recommendations for another blush in that color? Would the peach toned Hourglass blush be an option? Thanks in advance.

Estee Lauder Double Wear: in between shades Fresco and Soft Tan
I sampled two shades of Estee Lauder Double Wear - Fresco (2C3) and Soft Tan (4C3). Fresco was far too pink for my skin tone and Soft Tan is toeing the line of being too dark, but just barely. I was thinking maybe Pebble (3C2) would be a better match - just based off their names, 3C is in between 4C and 2C. Any recommendations? I'll make my way back to the store, but would like to get others opinions first. Thank you.

I currently use Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H foundation in the shade 250 Bisque W.  I am trying to find a shade from the Makeup For Ever HD Foundation that is similar to 250 Bisque W.  I was color matched at Sephora and the color is just way too dark pink for me.  Any suggestions on what shade in Makeup For Ever would match or be close to 250 Bisque? Thank you!

Best creaseless concealer?!?
Hey everyone!  I'm on the hunt for a new concealer.. I only need it like maybe like once or twice a week if my under eye area is dark.(either from lack of sleep or crazy hormones, LOL!) So I don't use it every day, but I do like to have it on hand. I am almost out of the Josie Maran Argan creamy concealer crayon and I did like it, but whenever I apply it, it creases in my under eye area and looks terrible!    I did get a sample of the Amazing Cosmetics concealer and I LOVE it. Although it's a little too expensive for my personal liking even though it is amazing. (Hehe)   So I'm looking for something a bit cheaper and that is so close (say dupe?) To the Amazing Cosmetics concealer.  Any suggestions??  Thanks a million!

Looking For New Foundation!!
Hi,   I have been having a hard time finding a foundation and concealer that really fits me. I would like one that leaves my face matte but does not make face look "caked" or dry. I have also been having trouble with foundations leaving my face looking oily. Right now I use a smashbox primer, NARS powder foundation, and sephora concealer. I love my primer its great. I feel like my foundation, for as expensive as it is, could be A LOT better. It leaves my face looking a few shades lighter, it also is supposed to be 12 hour wear but after a few hours my face looks suuuppeerrrr oily. My concealer is okay, I bought it because I tried a sephora brand contouring stick and LOVED it so I figured why not?! right. So I guess I would just like suggestions of other brands maybe that are full coverage and actually mean FULL coverage without making me looked caked or oily. Also suggestions on how to apply the foundation would be great!! I just want to know what everyone else is using to look flawless!! haha

Hourglass Ambient vs Becca Perfector?
Hello all! So lately I've become obsessed with getting a good deal on a Becca Perfector. I missed out on the mini promo and almost scored a great deal on one on HSN before it was sold out.   I normally shy away from powder highlighters, as I've had a few that look cakey/too glittery. I have pretty decent skin, so I just wear a pore primer and some bb or cc cream. I am waiting for the triple points in a few days to make a purchase, and I have heard great things about the Ambient Lighting Powder (which also has a mini version!) So my question is, does anyone have both, and which do you prefer? Or why did you go with one instead of the other?

Color Match
I currently wear Make Up For Ever HD foundation in the shade N178 and I am looking to purchase the Kat Von D Lock It Foundation. Unfortunately, I live in a small town and we do not currently have a sephora here that I can just go into and match my color and it is really hard to match the colors via photos. Is there anyway that you all can tell me my perfect shade? Every time I think I found it, I look at a YouTube video and it throws me off the trail lol. Online, D71 looks correct but in one video it looks too like and online D74 looks a little too dark. I would also like to make a disclaimer that I do not have any pink or yellow undertones.

Clinique CC Cream or Tarte Face Powder causing itching?
I have been using the combination of Clinique's CC Cream and Tarte's Amazonian Clay Powder for about a year and a half now. In search of Primer and Foundation for dry skin.
Hey there! I have fairly dry skin and I am in search of a primer and foundation that works well together. I currently use Urban Decay Naked Skin, and I am looking for something a little different, I would like a little more coverage but nothing that will make me look too cakey. I went to Sephora last night and got recommended the Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation, and the Too Faced Hangover X Primer and it just didn't work for me, I found them to be way too thick and not very complimenting on my dry skin. Hourglass Create Your Own Palette Coming to Sephora?
I was at Sephora yesterday and asked an SA if she’d heard when the Hourglass Holiday Ultimate Ambient Lighting Palette would be released. Unsurprisingly, she didn’t know a release month. She did inform me that Hourglass has mini pans in the works – like what the flagship store has to create your own palette.
