Foundation Help: Very pale with yellow undertones
I am interested in trying out some new foundations, and haven't had any luck at the drugstore. I know that a lot of higher end brands tend to come out with a wider colour selection of foundations, concealers, etc. I am very pale with yellow undertones, and my skin is normal to dry. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

HELP!!! Foundation nightmare!
Hi! So I've tried two high end foundations that were suggested to me by beauty store associates and neither of them work for me! I first tried Two Faced's Born This Way, and it was fine but not nearly enough coverage for me. Now I'm using KVD's Lock It, and at first it was perfect- perfect coverage, stayed on all day. But then it started oxidizing throughout the day and it would melt off my face, which feels really gross and looks even worse. I use it in combination with KVD's Lock It concealer under my eyes because I have dark circles (a product for that would be nice to know too!). I was just wondering if anyone has suggestions as to what foundation could give me full coverage and stay on all day without looking blotchy and discolored by the end of the day! I probably have combination skin but more oily. I live in NC so I need something that can stand up to humidity! Any other products (primers, concealers, etc.) that would help my problem would be greatly appreciated too! Thanks!

kat von d lock it powder or tarte amazonian powder -- help deciding
So...I've decided to change foundations.  I can't decide which I should try though.  I tried the KVD liquid/primer sample and was impressed with how it didn't break me out (this is a new experience in liquid and bb/ccs for me -- and I put that sample through the ringer!), but I prefer powders (I don't really want the sort of coverage liquids/creams give me on a day to day basis and ease of application is nice when you're running out the door to work). But I'm also intriqued by the Tarte Amazonian powder... Which would be best for: 50 year old, who doesn't need a full coverage (but likes to have that option for special occasions), has sensitive/combo skin that breaks out if offended by something, and needs something that will hold up for at least 8 hours at work? I haven't been color iq'd (and don't really have access), but I'm one of those difficult very light olive skin tones (I have brown/dark green eyes and, well had now it's 50% grey, brown/black hair with both dark red highlights) -- the KVD Medium 54 was about a shade too dark and a bit too yellow looking for this time of year, blended well (minimal line) but my son said I looked like I had a bit of a tan (but at least it didn't look too pink, orange, or ashy/chalky on me -- which I've had problems with in the past).

Best Setting Powder - Humidity/Heat
I am looking for the best face setting powder for a hot, humid climate. Or someone who works in a kitchen. You know - fast-paced, hot conditions. I don't need suggestions for under eye nor finishing powders. I'm looking for a powder that helps foundation stay on all day. Locks it in. Must be suitable for medium to tan skin tones. No flashback hazards. Prefer a natural to matte finish. Not really into shimmer. It's a plus if the powder provides coverage, but translucent is fine. I'm looking for something that helps make your face bulletproof. Any suggestions from those of you who've tried it all?

Help Needed! I Need a New Foundation
Does anyone have a good idea what kind of foundation would be good for oily/combination skin? I'm oily on my forehead and chin, dry around my nose, and I have fairly normal skin on the rest of my face. I was thinking about Kat Von D's Lock It! foundation, but I am a little unsure if that would be best. I read a lot of reviews, and people with my type of skin were kind of split. Some said it was the best, others said it made their skin worse. So I was also looking at Too Faced's Born This Way, since it was also recommended for my skin type. I'm currently using CoverGirl's TruBlend in l1 ivory. I'd like to find something better than this, because I believe it is part of the reason why I am still breaking out so badly, especially on my forehead. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great!! Thank you

On a quest for a cheap powder
Hello ladies, so face powders have always been my issue. They are too expensive because I go through them really fast. A high end powder lasts me a month, two at the most. So even though I prefer to use high end makeup and don't remember last time being at drugstore, powders is the thing I only buy at Ulta and buy it super cheap. Right now I use Maybelline FIT ME powder. So my question is:   1) Do high end powders also last you that little? Is it just me? How do you save on powders? Because I never see them in sephora favorites sets, or gwps, or samples, or anywhere where we get goodies for free!   2) Any drugstore face powders you would recommend?   Thanks
