Stila Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer Oil-Free SPF 20

Hi Guys,

So I decided to do a short review of the new Stila Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer Oil-Free SPF 20.  I got a sample of it in my last Sephora online order and honestly was not going to bother with it, but I was inspired to try out some samples that had been sitting in my cabinet for a while and this was among them.  To begin, I am not a huge fan of illuminators because I feel like they accentuate the flaws in my skin.  I have always felt that illuminators/tinted moisturisers are for people with perfect to near perfect skin, or those who only have very few superficial "flaws".  That being said, I wanted to review this because I was totally, pleasantly surprised.  I tried it on my face alone and the result was better than I expected.  It’s not quite enough coverage, but has to be one of the best tinted moisturisers I have tried, with the added bonus of illuminating the skin and spf.  The result is a slightly dewy, luminescent look, but definitely not too sparkly or like you have glitter pasted on your face.  For the past few applications I have mixed in it with my foundation (MUFE) and despite being "water downed" it retains that luminescent quality.  Below are some pics (it came in the usual sample packet but I transferred to small container).  It only comes in two shades 01 (Ivory) and 02 (Beige) at the moment (or should I say on the Sephora website). The shade featured is 01.

Thanks for sharing with us Elizabeth! :smileyhappy: I love this tinted moisturizer too, the finish soft and radiant without being greasy on my own combination skin.
