Problem with skin tone

(0) Hearts

Hi!

I really have troubles trying to find my skin tone... I read a lot of tips to find it, but I still can't!

I don't know if it can help, but I have Laura Mercier mineral powder in Natural Beige (the lady at the sephora recomended this one for me and it is perfect!).

Also, I have blond hair and green eyes, and when I have a silver eyeshadow on, I just look very tired..!

Thank you !

If you are beige you are probably yellow undertone.

So, the general method is to pinch the inside of your wrist gently, the color you see before the blood rushes back is your undertone. For us lighter skintones, there's the warm skintone (yellow/biege) and cool skintone (pink). However, if you've got a healthy flush on your face like me, you should also look at your normal lip color. Do you have a cool petal/pale pink lip? or do you have a coral-ish lip?If you are both cool and warm, go for neutral skintone stuff.

I'm Asian so I'm yellow undertoned, but I've got a cool lip/cheek color, so when my face turn red, it actually look like my skin color got slightly lighter, then becomes cool undertoned. Basically my face go through, like, 3 shades. I use Clinique powder in neutral, but for face make up I have both warm and cool undertone and layer accordingly to suit my complexion.

Thank you very much!

For my lips, when I put the Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfait, it really looks like my natural color, but maybe a little darker... So I think I'm neutral?
