I have foundation that doesn't match my skin but I don't want to throw it away

Hello,

I have a foundation that I bought ages ago so I can't return it. It's too pink for me. I have fair skin with golden undertones, so more yellow foundations are better on my skin. What should I do with the one that doesn't match?

You can either mix it with another foundation, or put a yellow setting powder over top to make it more yellow :smileyhappy:

Hi VintageCamellia,

You can try using it as a concealer (depending on the coverage). The pink will be good underneath the eyes!

If it's been ages, perhaps it's good to chuck it?  If it hasn't expired, you could donate it, use it for mixing when your skin changes shade throughout the year, or mix it with an illuminator for more subtle highlighting.
